just picked one up in the Ruger American Predator model. I wanna try it on deer next week, but I only have 1 box of ammo for it right now, The Hornady Match ammo. The new cartridge is kind of hard to find here. What do you think of the 108 ELD match bullet for whitetails?

The ELD-M will work just fine, just put it in the plumbing, and it will kill the hell out of a Whitetail. Rio7

Shoot for the armpit and keep a sharp knife handy.

Worked just fine. Was only a 75 yard shot though. little hole going in, thru ribs and lungs, golf ball hole coming out. ran 100 yards and dropped.
Was watching a hay field where I could shoot 350 yards, and he came out 75 yds. away.

great blood, took out both lungs, soup on the inside. I stayed in the center of the ribs to make sure I didn't hit shoulder. No meat loss
