6.5 SAUM, 130 JLK's at 3260, 349 yards.
I think our tough winter cost us some length on our bucks, It sure did cut down the population in the area I hunt. This guy was an old timer I think.

Congrats that’s a great heavy horned buck!
Hey way to go Mike. That's a good one anyway. Nice shootin' with those JLK's. Congrats.
Very nice Mike.... congrats!
Excellent work as usual Mike that’s a nice buck!
Congratulations on the buck.
Nice buck! The 130 gr JLK is my go to bullet for my 6.5 SAUM as well.
Thats a brute of a buck. What he might be missing in overall length he sure makes up in mass, especially above the cutters from what I can see. Heck I'd take that one any day and be thrilled!!
Congrats to you.
Well done Mike....great buck and good looking SAUM too.
Dandy, congrats. What are JLK's? I'm just getting into 6.5's and will start working up a load for my CM.
Thanks for the nice comments guys.
I got curious and had to put a tape on him. grossed about 76 2/8", 6 2/8 bases and 5 4/8 prongs, a shade over 14" length
I had guessed him about 65 70. Not a very good guesser this year. Mass adds faster than length it goes to show.
Lots of mass on that chunky buck!
Did you have your little Rabbit hunting partner with you?
Colodog I got the buck on a school day, dang it. I did catch a little hell over it as he told his mom. Grandpa got another one without me.
I wrote a quick story about him hunting antelope with me in the kids forum. He cracks me up and I just love sharing the out door world with him.
Maybe deer? Or even better in his mind, rabbits.
10 game critters with the 130 JLK over 2 years now and still a fan. They work very well between 40 yds. and 450 so far. Extremely consistent weight, length and on game performance. I bumped them up 3250 this year and their performance was devastating.
