Anyone used the Sierra 110 gr. Pro Hunter in 270 WCF for small deer and/or pronghorn??? If so how did it perform etc etc etc?

Yes! When my youngest started hunting I loaded that bullet with enough H4895 to get around 2700fps out of my 24” Rem. 700. The first time at the bench I started about 3gr. lower and told her it wasn’t much more than my 22mag. She shot it and gave me a look as if to say “hell yea”! I skipped to her hunting load and she put 3 into just under an inch! She killed two antelope does with that load (ranges were 94yds and 138yds). She only complained about the noise as we shoot under a metal roof at the range. That Sierra bullet passed thru both does and did plenty of damage! It’s a great bullet for starting youngsters off in bigger calibers! Not sure how it would perform if you hot rodded it but under 3000fps I wouldn’t worry one bit.

I have shot a bunch of deer with the 110g Sierra Pro hunter.

two loads in my remington 700 worked well:

57g of R#17 with a federal 215 primer

58g of Win 760 with a 9 1/2 primer

Complete penetration on broadside lung shots which I really like with massive internal damage with these loads doing 3300 fps

Same loads with a Barnes ttsx

I seat the bullets .050 from the lands

The 110's are the most accurate in my rifle shooting clover leaf groups from a sporter rifle.
