After a tedious belly crawl through the cactus, George made a perfect shot on this nice buck at 440 yards with his 6.5 PRC, and one 135gr Atip.

Pardon my ignorance but what is the function of the picatinny device on the upper end of the stock? Never seen that on a bolt rifle before.

Dat?.....speaks for your knowledge of firearms.

Bring your best .270 out here next April, and I'll run my PRC head to head with it....

Of course you won't show up. Just like all the other rifle experts that are invited that detest the equipment we use.

Wow. I see humor isn’t your gig... too bad. You’re apparently way too impressed with yourself to laugh a little.

Put your beer down and lighten up a little there Francis...

I was also wondering WTF about the barrel swag.

But then again I've never hunted (pronghorn)antelope at night so pardon the ignorance Pat.

(that was an attempt at a joke)

I don't drink.

So are you bringing your sense of humor and your .270 next spring?

Maybe you should.

I run 308’s and don’t even own a 270.

As far as driving across the state to spend time with a self-important ass, I’ll pass. Fall and spring are the busiest times for my business (I work). Were I to come I’d bring my AI stocked, Badger Ordinance, Bartlein barreled beast w/ GPS mount. But it’s way too plebeian for someone so important as yourself...

Pat, my sense of humor or one of the 270's?

If you're lucky maybe all three.....grin

400 yards and under makeshift aim and flame Rez style I can keep up.

845.7 meters with 7.2 kph quartering away breeze ain't happening.
