So proud of my little lady! Hunted WSMR on her OIL trophy oryx hunt. Passed quite a few and made a long stalk on a herd but some other hunters bumped them. While making another plan this long cow started heading for us. She let her get to 140 yards and then smoked her!!! Couldn’t pass up an opportunity like that. 280 Ackley with a 168 accubond.
That's totally cool! Way to go lady.
Awesome time for you two..
Outstanding! Congratulations...
Congratulations to your wife.
Looks like she's pretty happy. Good times for sure.
I also like hunting with my wife.
Way cool, congrats to missus pistolero, any plans for taxidermy? shoulder mount, european?
The hide of the gemsbok makes a very durable rug.
I love it. Congrats to you both. Great pic too!
Good stuff, congrats to you and the Mrs.
Thanks fellas!
I think she’s gonna do a euro and I tanned hide. I’m trying to figure out a way to cape his head to include it kinda like a zebra rug, split from the jaw and skin up I’m sure.
Big thumbs up. You know how to pick'em.
Congrats to your wife! That’s a real good looking trophy! Good shoot’n, looks like good shot placement! memtb

My wife and I really like the oryx hunts on wsmr. Been twice so far.
What range did you go on ?
Dang man nice score on both your parts; she is well worth the bragging!
Awesome trophy that’s a lovely animal I bet it’s tasty!
Super!! Such a cool looking critter. Congrats to her!
Good Deal ! Oryx is really good eats. Bob
Appreciate all the kind words, she’s awesome and a lucky woman!! Hahaha
That was Rhodes Canyon.
How many years did it take her to draw?
That's where we've hunted.
Oryx fingers are awesome !!
How many years did it take her to draw?
I don’t want to say, everyone might take back all the nice things they said about her! Hahaha....first time applying.
Lady luck!
Gotta love the 280 Ackley
Take her to Vegas.

Very nice! Congrats to your wife!
Good job! I killed three of them, when I lived in NM and have yet to find any better eating.
Awesome. I used to hunt 'blues quite a bit on BLM land just east and a little south of Artesia. Excellent little diner there with great chicken fried steak.
Awesome! Looks like a great adventure and memories. Congratulations to both of you!
Congratulations to the Missus. They make a great shoulder mount. I've got a gemsbok on my wall and you need a tall ceiling but they are a beautiful mount. PM me if you want a picture. They are just amazing with all the marks on their faces. It would have been cheaper to do European mounts but there's just nothing like the shoulder mounts. Good job.
Thanks! Yes sir, I’ve got a bull on the wall, so she decided to do a euro. She wanted to have the hide tanned so I caped it like a a zebra rug. I even got over the horns to keep the face! Hopefully it comes out the way I hope! I killed another, last week, I think I’m gonna have an artist friend carve the skull.
Missed this the first go 'round..... CONGRATULATIONS on the lucky hunt draw, the take of a beautiful animal and I'm sure you'll really enjoy the great table fare, Gemsbok has a fantastic flavor!
Congrats, she’s a keeper!
Congratulations!!!! Nice animal and a nice shot! Good for her!!
Outstanding! Congratulations all around.
And thanks for sharing.
I had one of my Oryx full body hides tanned.
With the head, looks cool.
That’s how I caped hers too!
Congratulations to you and your wife on an awesome hunt.

That's fantastic. My ex wife hunted, not so much this one. But this one can cook it better. And this one is a hell of a sausage maker.
