Am I the only one that keeps watching this? I am still hunting with my 22 year old son but I remember vividly when he was just like that little boy

well at 66 and a wife of over 45 years who never questioned me bowhunting , fishing ,reloading ammo ,trap shooting and have`n a few beers, i still hunt with my 31 year old son, who is not married yet ,he has went thru ladies as i once did . seems many young ladies feel they are more important than fishin or huntin and we should quit for them. i always said this to them if my hunting upset you there`s the door don`t let it hit you in your A-- on the way out ! but now my son seems to have found a young lady who was raised right with a bow and gun in her hand.

this young lady is coming into the right family , i will let her sit some of the best deer stands bow or rifle. my son and her fish alot now and she is happy no matter how nasty the weather or bugs are. this young lady does not give up easy so i am X`n my fingers for my son`s sake. here`s the good part of this young lady never married ,no kids and has a master degree she is good lookin ,thin,work`n and very smart. my son seems to have always dated very nice ladies he`s fussy as i was too, his mother my wife at 64 still looks 50 .

Hard to find a woman that will let you go hunting and fishing when you want.

My late wife was scared of guns at first as she was born in a British colony but, luckily, she slowly evolved into a shooter and hunter. I even customized a Ruger mini 14 for her that she did well with on feral goats.
I was very fortunate to be her life partner for 43 years. 🤗

mine does, hunts with me too and by herself. never bats an eye when I say I'm going to hunt X animal. she just says ok and helps me plan it. runs the vacuum sealer and bags burger when we process, although not a fan of gutting or boning meat. I think that's a small price to gut her critters in exchange for everything else. I'm truly blessed.

She also helped me pay the boat off early and lets me fish whenever I want, just need to take the kids saturday mornings so she can sleep in. sometimes she goes along and loves it when we're out on the water though early mornings on a day off are sacred so I try to let her sleep. both our kids love to hunt and fish. my 7 yo daughter knows more about trolling for walleyes than most grown men.

A good wife is a blessing. You are lucky if you have one!!!

I certainly lucked out with mine. I was working seasonally and trapping coyotes, cats and beaver professionally during the winter when we met. She accepted that and said she like hunting and shooting and even offered to help me skin coyotes. I knew it would never any better than this and in a monumental lapse of judgement, she agreed to marry me. She has always appreciated my hunting and has joined me on many deer, elk, moose and caribou hunts. For health reasons she doesn't hunt much any more. A few days a year if she gets drawn for a cow moose tag or a caribou tag. She still likes to have me keep the freezer full of moose and caribou.

I think mine looks forward to me hunting and fishing. No sandwiches to make. She is a dandy!
