Trying my hand at doing an outfitter camo pattern.
2 colors are matching pretty well, but I can't figure out or find the 3rd so far.
Might go by Hobby Lobby, and see what they may have ?
Who has a large selection of flat colors I may find the one I'm looking for ?

Ok....
What's that brown color ?
Those stocks look pretty nice.
ace khaki
but it is gloss enamel. matte clearcoat dulls it up.

Looking good! Why are your two base colors shown?
The camo paint from walmart works good.
Huntsman,
I'm going to look at Ace for a bit more of a tan color.
Looking at several pieces of clothing, none have that dark of a brown.

WAM, not sure why your asking why ?
I tried a few tan paints, but I liked the darker brown better.
So whatta y'all think ?

It looks pretty nice. Did you overspray it with anything to protect the finish?
Looks good, seal it with several coats of matte clear.
No. Haven't sprayed anything over the paint yet.
257 Weatherby Vanguard that's been Cerakoted, and my Remington 700, 7-08, that was Duracoted.
Both ready for any weather conditions now.

Typo. WHAT are your base color paints. I want to try it! What technique did you use to limit overspray in the pattern?
I'll get the colors for you in a bit, but I used the light color to cover the entire stock.
We had a pizza the other night and I used the cardboard from under it to make a pattern on.
Cut it out, and used blue painter's tape to block off some of it for smaller areas.
I did the green first, and filled in with brown..
I have clear gloss, so I'm going to get a can of matt to cover.
All done.
Several coats of clear matte.

Man, I’ve got some wool clothes that someone really needs when they’re carrying them. They’d match perfectly!
Send me a pm with pics !
