Just got home last night. Had a great hunt in the Limpopo region of SA. Lots of fun and no drama. 1, 300 grain A-Frame through the left shoulder, 2 steps and turned around and caught the second A-Frame trough the right shoulder. He dropped at the second shot, bellowed and died. 375 Improved loaded to about 2650

Good job 6MM, great buffalo, rifle, cartridge and bullet, glad you got your Wife out there too, mine wont let me leave for Africa without her.

I like the "Two trophies Quote"! Isn't that the truth! Smart Man!

I’ll be headed over to Mozambique in a few short weeks. Hope to send a 416 TSX towards one
My PH sent me a few black and white pics he took. I kind of like them,
Congratulations! From someone that is green with envy! More photos and a lengthy story required by those that must live vicariously through others! 😁 memtb
+1 on the envy! Congratulations on a nice Buff. I think the black and white is cool, adds a vintage or nostalgic look.
Please don't tell your wife, but that B&W photo is the one I would frame. Very nice.
Recovered weight 268 grains
I'm pretty sure the second trophy is not the one in the middle. ;-) Congratulations on a great Buff. As the African folk like to say "that a proper Bull."
Would that 375 Improved happen to be a 375 Wby??
My FN/Sako in 375 Wby is a hammer.
Very nice trophies! They rate a two-cool.
Contratulations on the nice bull.
Congrats on a very nice bull! The pictures are great. I like both the B&W as well as the color.
This is just FYI on Dipping and crating costs. I just got my invoice for my buffalo + 4 buffalo leg bones and 4 Giraffe leg bones ( for 2 knife maker friends) + documentation on the Giraffe and the total was $400.
This cost is not including shipping costs yet ( Badger Cargo ) , nor receiving, clearing US Customs and US Fish and Wildlife. To be done by Coppersmith.
This service is being done by Swift Dip ( dip and pack ) and will be handed off to Badger Cargo for shipping.
Everyone getting their cut but it is what it is.
Dipping and crating is supposed to be completed in 3-4 months
Nice Bull for sure. Hard bossesand heavy to tips of horns.
My PH sent me a few black and white pics he took. I kind of like them,
I haven't had an opportunity to shoot a buffalo, but that one looks huge. I'd think that is a record book animal??
Congratulations on a great hunt and getting to share the memories!
I like the black and white picture, it could be in a classic Africa hunting book!
Congratulations on a great hunt.
That is a very good bull! Congratulations.

Congratulations on a grant ol' buff. Good character in the bosses and well worn hooks and tips.
Impressive turn time on getting your trophies ready. Curiosity question - did they tell you who the carrier was going to be from RSA to US?
Always good to see the ladies going along. I've found life much easier with a willing accomplice!
Shipment is Turkish Airways via Istanbul, Hope it isn't stolen for knife handles!
Cost is from RSA to Seattle through San Fran then trucking to Seattle. It is a part of a large container.
Thanks for he kind comments.
Final leg. Shipment is on its way from Seattle to my door and the last folks getting into my pocket was $1,300.00 for clearing customs, US Fish and wildlife and final shipping to me from Seattle to Montana .
Congratulations on a fine bull.
Skull and cape is home to Montana.
Those worn down horns are cool as schitt!
Thank you . 41" wide bosses are a bit better than 13"
cool, love buffalo skulls
Very, Very, Very nice!!! Congratulations again. The character, the wear, the chips/chunks out in the bosses are what a true trophy is - to me anyway, They will in generate life long memories to relive with "dram and a drop".
Awesome buff! I just put together a 404 Jeffery and hope to break it in on a buffalo hunt soon!
