I'm not sure this is the right question for this forum, but I lived in Botswana for about a year and have a resident permit. Does anyone know what the rules are if I want to take my hunting rifle and shotgun over to have there while I live there again for another period of time? I want to do some hunting and wanted to know if any one on this forum has any experience with this situation. Thanks.

Do a web search to find pro-hunters who operate in Botswana and ask them ? Or contact their embassy in Washington DC.
