Sounds like the European version of that scumbag Greg Hein and his Waffenfabrik Hein scam. I personally lost seven grand on that venture and saddly the laws favor the perpetrator. Thanks for the heads up. jorge

Peter was a long time standing poster on the European Forum over at AR and always came across as a decent chap..

Just looking at his profile, it would seem he hasn't posted for about 3 months, and I can imagine why people are getting worried.

Hope it turns out the guy is simply snowed under and nothing more sinister than that..

I was just reading some of it and edited my original reply as you were posting...

"Express Rifles" does seem to have a contact for him and has been in touch, so hopefully something positive will occur, although I'd say its not looking very likely at the moment..

There is nothing wrong with his ability to respond to the myriad emails, PMs, Skype inquiries from all of the involved parties - while he was ignorong these efforts at contact he was regularly and simultaneously posting on other sites.

One of our mistakes was giving him the benefit of the doubt and concern regarding his own health or ability to respond.

That seems to be an all too common pattern of events with a minority of gunsmiths..

I really hope the people affected get a satisfactory resolution..
