Has anyone have experience with the 380 grain .375 Rhino bullet? Kevin Robertson in his second edition of the perfect shot puts these as his top choice for buffalo in the .375 H&H.

If I recall correctly JJ Hack likes the 270 g TSX for buffalo.

Any thoughts about the 350 grain TSX?

I don't think you can buy them in the US. I tried a few months ago and came up empty. Wonder will they ship s few boxes from RSA?

If ya want, I will split the overseas shipping costs. I want maybe 4 or so boxes and some 257 sizes.

Last place I found some was an Oregon based hunting concern. Before them, Bill Isenbarger (Houston area) tried representing them and the exchange rate made it ridiculous. Without an importer, RHINO bullets are not available. Look for "Safari Bullets".

Thanks for the heads up agazain. I will see if they can ship to Canada. There is often significant variance in rules betwixt Canada and the US.

Or try buying from Australian source? RHINO softs do make an impressive four-petal "mushroom". The only one I have is a .416 shot end-to-end and recovered in the hip skin of an 80-pound shoat I trapped.

No personal experience with the .375 variants but the .308 180 grains at -06 speeds have felled dozens of stags, deer and boars for me when I lived in Sweden.

Now I am trying to get my hands on some .366 Rhino projectiles for some more international work...

A 350 Woodleigh would be a good choice. Might follow it with the 350 Barnes. The Woodleigh may stop at the hide on a double shoulder hit so would be better for a herd shot. The Barnes will be close to 100% pass through except for end on end shots.
