A few years ago a PH was accidentally shot with a big bore in the shoulder. A rifle was being built for him before the accident. He is not able to hunt anymore. I bought the metal work and sent the funds directly to him. The rifle is finished now. Metal work by Dennis Olson and stock by Jim Kobe.
Would anybody remember his name? Thanks

That is a nice piece of wood, that anyone would be proud to own.

Yes Sir, he is the man. Do you have any contact for Stu?
Thanks very much.

Very very nice rifle. What's it chambered in?

Oh and my heart and my prayers go out to Stu. I can't imagine something happening to a person that would prevent them from doing what they love.

I'm sorry Butch I don't. Maybe you could find him through the website above, Africahunting.com?

Isn't there a PH association in Africa? Used to be called the White Hunters Association but they changed it due to political correctness and the number of Black "White Hunters". If not Dallas Safari Club has a directory at least of the PHs that are members one of them should know.

Beautiful Rifle everything is outstanding about it and nothing is overdone.
I located Stu today and spoke to him by phone. We had a good visit. He is recovered and back as a PH. Long recovery time.

Glad you found him, I'm betting he appreciated the call
It was 2012 when Stu was shot through the shoulder. That was the same year Antony Howland was shot by a client and lost his arm at the elbow, Wayne Clark was killed by a buffalo in Tanzania, and Owain Lewis was killed by a buffalo in Zimbabwe. All four were licensed PHs from Zimbabwe. It was a tough year for a that small community of hunters.

I am glad you were able to speak with Stu.

Clement Victor has been hunting Moz for some years. I don't know whether he is active there anymore, but he got around. He was a good friend I haven't kept in touch with. It's a possible source of information for you, Butch. If you talk to him tell him Bruce Cunningham sends regards.
