Nothing like a good rain. Hope the grass will rebound quickly.

Correctomundo........Was there with the son in 2014, just before this drought began.

Too early to say it's over, but damn that looks good!

Was up in the NW this year and I have never seen it so dry. No grass whatsoever. Bare dirt. Skeletons everywhere. We needed to provide some meat for the locals and we drove around all day and shot one springbock!

Just horrible!
I got the same news today. Very welcome! but Way too soon to say it's over, nice to have a respite though!

A drought cannot be broken until it starts raining. This is a good start.

Last week when I was there, the Caprivi was getting rains about every 2-3 days. The grass went from dead brown to lush green in 10 days and the Mopani leaves sprouted like crazy.

Good to see. My family hunted Namibia this year with Harold and Liezel from Osombahe Nord safaris. Extremely dry but still plenty of high quality game, we used a 35 Whelan and a 308 Howa. Excellent time would be even better now.
