My buddy is a firearms neophyte. He has bought a Beretta M9. At his local gun store they don't have any regular CCI .22 lr.
He is going to buy some CCI subsonic.
Will the subsonic cycle the Beretta?
I don't have the Beretta, but the CCI Subsonic ammo cycles all of my semi-auto rifles and handguns without issue.
Their original "quiet" ammo does not cycle a semi-auto, but I saw that they came out with a "Quiet Semi-Auto" that's supposed to do the job. I haven't tried any of it, though.
Cci. Lr hollow point subs cycle my ruger pistols and winchester 190s
I use CCI subsonics in my 22/45 with a suppressor. Without the can, no cycling problems at all. With the can, I usually have a FTE on the first round and then the rest of the 10 round magazine feeds and ejects fine.
Cycles my Glock 44 just fine.
The CCI Standard Velocity rounds cycle my S&W 41 just fine along with all my rifles. The CCI Subsonic Hollow Points won’t chamber in the same pistol or my Remington 541S. The straight sided section of the bullet is just a little to long and too large in diameter to allow the bullet to slightly engage the rifling at the lead.
There’s only one way to find out if they’ll chamber. Try ‘em out.
They function fine in my Marlin 60 and NEOS.
