Is that the best your fevered boomer mind could come up with?
It's probably not the best time for you to demonstrate generational preferences,....since young people are marching in the streets with the boos and embracing Communism.
Before I found some pictures this morning of the "noose" in Bubba Wallace's garage I thought it might have been Bowline knot. It wasn't a Bowline knot but it wasn't even close to being a hangman's noose. I know how to tie a hangman's noose (I guess from watching a lot of cowboy movies when I was a kid). Bubba Wallace's hand wouldn't fit through what he called a noose much less his big mush filled, brainwashed, racist head. NASCAR banned Confederate flags but lets Wallace drive a race car with BLACK LIVES MATTER painted on it. I hope NASCAR goes bankrupt along with the NBA and the NFL for supporting actual racism.
Everyone is so blasted sensitive these days about something we had nothing to do with. If you really want NASCAR to pay attention go on their website, as I have, and tell them if NASCAR is going to allow kneeling during the American anthem then you are done with NASCAR and will boycott their sponsorships. Explain that you will boycott the sponsors or better yet, contact the sponsors to tell them you will NOT purchase their products due to the NASCAR ruling. I for one, am sick of this entire nonsense. Hit them where it hurts! In the bank account. Also, grow the [bleep] up and stop the stupid posts. Use your 1st amendment right to tell NASCAR, their sponsors, the drivers to do the same. I am not a racist! I am Caucasian. I will speak up! DO THE SAME in lieu of stupid posts that this particular one has been started. Wake up!
Ran a few nearby tracks when young about 60 years ago and it was good stuff, but as time has passed and nature of the the drivers and stock racing has changed so much, I know almost nothing about NASCAR, Took my wife to the Daytona deal a few years ago and - yes, quite a spectacle - but the racing was just plain boring. The entire feeling was "commercial". That drained the last of my interest.
No expert here, but it seems that the NASCAR thing is on life-support and without much genuine interest on the part of those who like genuine racing. How could those guys keep it alive now?

The France family shopped it on the open market a couple of years ago...no takers.

When the grandstands empties and tv viewership tapers off, the sponsors will gently slip away out the backdoor.
If you think NASCAR had a bad reputation before, imagine it now. They have gone full on “hate whitey” in every way.
The stands will only be filled with man buns with skinny jeans driving Subaru Outbacks. Maybe some other males in drag. And as you enter, you have to kneel and shine some shoes. Lol.
Seriously, if anyone watches or attends NASCAR after the Jussie Wallace fiasco, you have to be hard up to find meaning in your life. You will really get the boiled down low IQ gang in there now for sure.
There is nothing stopping real race fans from supporting and starting a new league?

A quarter mile race track has 4 turns, and a dirt surface. A reasonably clever chim p anzee can stab a gas pedal and steer in a straight line. NASCAR is just a high speed Macy's Christmas Parade, minus the balloons!
They cant, they're the nfl part II, gone, dead, lost forever, Big Daddy 'petty dick' was quick to run his forgetful/hypocritical ass in to render assistance.
I tried to watch a couple races on TV with a buddy of mine 30 years ago and thought it was boring as fug then, and I set on the edge of my seat watching golf (though I'll actually golf every now and then, at 47 I'll likely never drive a racecar competitively).
It's a sport that's been dying on the vine since Dale Sr. had a tragic sudden stop and has been trying to move away from its "Redneck" faithful and more toward the man bun crowd for at least the last decade. Whoever didn't see the flag move coming lives under a pretty big rock. The only shock is that it took this long.
I sorta find it difficult to fret their views one way or the other, particularly now that they have drivers that ain't got a clue how a garage door works........
