ST. LOUIS — A man and a woman pointed guns at protesters who marched through the Central West End Sunday night to call for Mayor Lyda Krewson to resign.

Videos from the protest showed the man pointing a semi-automatic rifle and a woman pointing a pistol at the crowd marching down the street. The videos circulated widely on social media Sunday night.

The couple has been identified as Mark and Patricia McCloskey. They own a prominent St. Louis law firm named McCloskey Law.

According to Saint Louis University Lawyer John Amman, their actions could possibly be classified as assault by putting protesters in fear of their safety.

The couple’s “Midwestern palazzo” home was featured in St. Louis Magazine in August 2018 after they completed a major renovation.

In the piece, they showed off their dome gilt ceiling and curved double staircase of marble leading to the second- and third-floor landings.

“The glass in the windows” is from the second-floor reception hall at the 14th-century Palazzo Davanzati in Florence, Italy, “and the shutters, at least the ironwork, are probably original,” the couple told the magazine.

No broken windows or flames- - - - -looks good to me!
They protected themselves their home and their neighbors from a violent mob. Good for them .
Damn, before I went out and chased off the mob, I would have changed out of the pink polo shirt.
Not sure, but it appears as though the protesters are on their front lawn and driveway.
a few things I would have done differently but I can appreciate them taking the stance.

But protestors tipping over your car and beating you senseless with a skateboard isn't.

Right.

Just another tidbit proving the MSM is fully controlled by the communist Bolsheviks .
The woman with the PPK looks like she means business

I'm thinking that protesters, peaceful or not, do not have the right to be on (your) private property.

In the street maybe, not in your yard.

MM
I saw some traffic on twitter indicating that the protesters broke into a gated community where this couple lives and had no right to be anywhere near their home. Not on the sidewalk or the street or anywhere.
The lawyers home as well as St. Louis mayors home is located in a gated community... but of course the protesters broke a gate down to enter the area.
Worked like a charm, those bitchez we’re sure enough scared enough to change their original intentions, which was to scare and intimidate. Tables turned bitchez.

My initial thoughts also!
I just wonder how those two voted last election? The amount of sympathy phuggs given for their plight will be directly commensurate with “none whatsoever”, be they of the blue persuasion. . .
I don't know how MO works, but Idaho's stand your ground law allows you to use deadly force to protect your home, car, and place of business. besides protecting your life. Break through a locked gate and you could become legally shot. There have been ZERO violent protests in Idaho so far.

I like Joesy's approach.

I agree. They look like they would be all for a BLM protest were it not in their neighborhood.
Protesters are lucky in this case. Trespassing on private property. Shooting would be justified if owners were afraid.
Sooner or later it’s going to happen. Hasbeen
The guy gets style points for the A1. Even carried wrong handed.

Pretty sure the wife is a shooting form instructor...

In this case the show of force prevented any property damage. Hasbeen
The couple should have shot a moon cricket to start the herd running for the gate, then a shooter stationed on the roof should have been dumping bodies as they bunched up trying to exit through the gate. They had their chance to rid the planet of a bunch of trash....

The two idiots were flagging each other left and right, with their fingers on the triggers. They need some lessons if they want to be ready next time.
That's pretty good, RemModel8. Did you do that?
Their home is aggressively White. Look at the order, symmetry, materials selected for durability and beauty rather than ease of workmanship. The art shows an ability to think in the abstract.

I can understand why a sub-Saharan African would find it threatening.

Beautiful. Just like a lot of the monuments the mobs are ruining. I'd say they'd love to tear that down. Those guys have enough money to hire some private security. After all the publicity, I'd say they'd better, because they're now a target. Better make sure their homeowner's policy is up to date.

That looks like an A2. Look at the ribbed round handguards, and the rear sight.

But still, style points awarded.
Ladies pistol looks like a nasty little Jennings J-22.

Look at the length of the extractor, that's not a PPK.
Kinda looks like a Sig p232. Hasbeen

I agree. The communist thugs who run the idiot thugs will probably plan some kind of major retaliation. The woman might also consider a bigger pistol with a couple of extra magazines.

They both need to wear all camo clothing as that would show the attacking thugs they mean business. You gotta suit up with full camo if you intend to protect life, limb, and goods. wink

L.W.
I'll wager this scene be highlighted on TUCKER tonight.
No "Law and Order" folks or LEO's gonna mention that what the couple did is against the law, and that they should be charged with felony brandishing? I didn't think so. Bunch of fuucking hypocrites here, who believe in law and LEO's until that law goes against something they like.
Hell yeah

I suspect that you're full of bullshit. I don't believe that bearing arms in defense of your safety and on your own property is chargeable as brandishing.
All of a sudden, I see a reason to get a bull bar for my truck that wraps around my whole grill/fenders.....
These two are personal injury lawyers (read screaming liberals) and the husband is currently suing a police department on behalf of a black guy claiming police brutality. If it wasn't their property being threatened then these two would be standing there cheering that mob on.

It's all fun and games until it's your ox that's being gored.
Yeah. They're big dem donor's too. Interesting twitter thread here:

Loved the couple's statement to the press. Basically says we're down with the "struggle" and will support you any way we can but get off my fuggin lawn.

Pink shirt guy and his pistol packin mama are a meme now.

I was right, Tucker made this scene in St Louis part of his opening monologue tonight.

You think wrong.

St. Louis Circuit Attorney Threatens to Take Action Against Couple Who Protected Home Against Protest Mob on Private Street

On Monday morning far left Soros-funded Circuit Attorney did not condemn the lawless protest mob.
Instead Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner sent out a statement threatening the couple!

A ranch hand on a dually diesel would get a guy out of a lot of situations that may arise in any number of large cities presently. Trip to the carwash afterwards would take care of any mess.

Felony "brandishing" on your own property ?????
Give me a f'in break - that's simple self defense - any way you look at it
(from a realistic point of view, anyway)

Virtue signalers faced with their Frankenstein.

Hope they get their comeuppance...
A couple of these wouldn't suck either.

And damned if I didn’t hear it reported tonight on Fox. They put out a statement saying they wanted everyone to know they are supporters of BLM. I guess just not in their neighborhoods...

FUGG EM BOTH!!

Her ethnic loyalty is admirable and I wish more Whites would behave the same way.
I don’t have a problem, other that the wife not keeping her firearm pointed down and her finger off the trigger.

They didn't want to donate their property to the "Cause".

I don't understand.....it's just *property*.

It may have to do with that pesky "shoe on the other foot" thing..
McCloskey went on CNN right after Tucker interviewed him. Chris Cuomo basically called that liberal lawyer a white nationalist for defending his home and hearth.
The socialists eat their own. Watch this hack Cuomo in this interview. Flat out lies and obfuscation about those "peaceful protestors".

Typical communists. They don't hate guns. They hate YOU having guns....its perfectly fine for them. Likewise, they don't hate money and nice things. They hate YOU have money and nice things.....etc etc.
The mob busted down the iron security gate just twenty yards from their back porch (ignoring the Private Road, No Trespassing signs). Calling them peaceful demonstrators is like calling the enraged peasants in the Frankenstein movie a welcoming committee.

Send them to Seattle- - - - - -then they can pick a side to defend.
I hope the couple gets charged.
A good idea, but I want something they can't grab hold of so easily. Maybe if you electrify the bumpers....

That close, it won't make much difference where his sight is...I kind of like that he thought to stick another 30 round magazine in his front pocket. Wonder what he has in his back pockets?

I was hired to build a deck in a rough neighborhood in Atlanta. The house next door was abandoned. And down in that yard was a big oak tree. I figured I would help clean up the neighborhood by taking home several truck loads of firewood.
I would go over there at lunch and saw up a pickup load of oak.
I was sawing away one day, and this black kid about 30 shows up. I switched off the Stihl chain saw. I was holding the saw in my hands.
And he said "Hey man, I will load the truck for you for $20."

It was a Nissan Frontier, six foot bed, and it was already half loaded. If I were to hire someone, and the truck was empty, it would be a $10 job, tops.
I told him "No thanks I have it covered." Trying to be friendly.
And he said "I will load it for ten bucks." Again I said that was fine but I had it taken care of.

And then he said, "Give me ten bucks."
It was a damn shake down. I don't know if he was so stupid, he didn't know what a chain saw was, or he figured I was a White sissy.
Also, I didn't know if he had a weapon in his back pocket. If he pulled a knife I would have given them something to talk about at Grady Hospital, double hand amputation by a Stihl Farm Boss, I bet they don't see that too often.

I didn't want to make him mad, because if he didn't have a gun he could damn sure have gone home and gotten one and come back real quick. I didn't want him to go away mad I just wanted him to go away.
Once again I told him "No deal" and he shrugged and walked off.
