Why are there no negroes or hispanic students on any of the teams?

Because neither group can speak english.

They got no fugging trust fund.

I went to school with a black girl who was brilliant. She was the only black kid in our AP classes and was good at all areas of academics. I think she finished third in the class overall. Very quiet and shy and IIRC, most of the other black kids hated her.

Look at our national spelling bee. Very few Caucasians. Mostly first generation Asian who know that hard work will get them ahead.

I'm betting that the kids were selected on merit with no allowance for a token minority. To do otherwise is racist.

My college roommate was black. He was my roommate because I asked him to be when I found out he was also going to UT-Austin. Very intelligent, conscientious, respectful, well mannered, and trustworthy. Met his family on moving day. Both his mom and dad favorably impressed me, but that fit given his character (See EdM's signature line). He majored mechanical engineering and needed no hand holding or lowered standards to make the grade.

Scott Paper Corp. sponsored such a quiz team league in our area when I was in HS (1950s in SE PA) - called it "Scott High Q" . It was great competition and I was fortunate to be on the team in my junior and senior years. We had a very bright black girl (the term at that time was "colored") on the team one year and likewise smart black guy the next year Other schools had black team members as well - but we had almost no Hispanic families in that area. We never were on TV as we competed.

Our local culture was much healthier in those days - the Democrat politicians had not yet started the campaign to divide us with their racist tactics.

No doubt there are very smart people in all races...

My observation on the Battle Of The Brains show today was that none were represented except white kids.

Being stupid is super easy... kinda like bagging a 12 point buck at a petting zoo.

I’me familiar with magnet school kids in a big-city lower income setting. Yep, some really bright kids that go on to big name schools and the service academies on full rides.

Ain’t too many of these that ain’t got stellar parents.

Funny thing is, a super bright kid often is the only one like that among their brothers and sisters, who will usually be nice kids but just average academically. I ask them do you recall being abducted by space aliens who put a smart chip in their brain 🙂

If you are a black kid and want to be dissed by your peers (other blacks), just try acting white. As in being respectful and sounding intelligent. There are enough white kids that fall prey to this shunning and ostracizing so they don't achieve either. Darn few black kids can take being shunned by their own.

They took their toys and went home after Shady Ice made a movie about their competitions.

Also don’t forget the average IQ of blacks is 85, 100 for whites, and 105 for East Asians. Many individuals ate higher than average but that’s what you start with.

Only the parents of the white kids are willing to allow their kids to be sexually assaulted by the producers so that they can get on TV. We have fallen far.

Blacks aren't any dumber than any other race. Their problem is the prevailing black culture that rewards stupidity. Get rid of that and they'll be as smart as any one else.
