I bet if you had a date with a cheerleader you'd remember that.

My grandmother was a huge fan of sugar for kids and brain alertness.

I heard the stories many many times of how she would trade her coffee rations during World War II for sugar for the children. She used to say children need sugar to make their brains work better and grow.

Obviously too much sugar is a major problem nowadays for kids and adults. ADD and whatever other ailments.

Bottom line, you might try adding a spoonful of sugar to your morning coffee.

I'll drink my coffee anyway I can get it but I always seem to do a little better if I put sugar in it.

Just go on to the grocery store anyway without a list and push a cart slowly up every aisle and maybe that'll jog your memory as to what you need.

Yes, the brain needs sugar - the brain is a sugar burning organ.
