John Saxon was an excellent actor. Don't forget him in the Clint Eastwood movie, Joe Kidd, written by Elmore Leonard, one of the best western writers. I met him once years ago at Goldwyn Studios. He was a very pleasant man.

One of my favorite western scenes right behind Shane gunning down Wilson,is where John Saxon takes four horses and runs down the white stallion..
