Maybe that’s Roy Clark???

John Saxon was an excellent actor. Don't forget him in the Clint Eastwood movie, Joe Kidd, written by Elmore Leonard, one of the best western writers. I met him once years ago at Goldwyn Studios. He was a very pleasant man.

A hallmark of a good actor allows them to immerse themselves into the character, right down to resemblance.

"I take you along for cold nights, and days when there is nothing to do. Not to hear you talk."

I love it! Got to remember that line.

I can find no connection between John Saxon and Roy Clark or Roy Rogers, except that John Saxon and Roy Rogers acted in westerns.
