Don't know, lotta shelves bare in the local Rite Aid when I was last in there looking for TP. Bunch of bamboo fiber TP available...............Made in China of course. But none of the type we use. Lady I know there told me to come on Wed at 1PM, wife went as I had a Dr appt. Nope, none of our brand, she took a 4 pack of Scott one ply though.
All the notions and household shelves were about empty. Maybe they were getting ready to move stock around and rearrange the shelving units?
Speaking of shirts and stuff. WTF happened to the price of men's underwear. Was in a Fred Meyer's in OR a couple of weeks back. They had a sale, buy one get one 50% off or some such. No price that I could find for the 5 pack of Hanes. Get to register, watching the price display. Ho lee fugg, $40 for 5 pair of underwear. It's not like they were even "dainties" for my wife. $8 a pair, with the sale I think it knocked it down around $6. I may have to look for a cheaper brand, just a couple or 4 years back I got a 5 pack for around $12 or so. Much more to my liking.
Thanks for the reminder too, time to order some pocket t shirts online. Before they get any higher.
Maybe the fuggin Chinese made a run on all the cotton in the world.
Last week at Wallie's the tee shirt racks were full but there were almost no socks. This week, the opposite. I bought socks.
Sportsman's Warehouse is almost completely out of all hunting and fishing gear - a lot of it Made in China, of course. The floor manager told me it's not a matter of them not stocking up; their suppliers are out. He thinks that little is getting made or shipped, and what little is getting onto ships isn't getting unloaded because the ports are in Covid lockdown.
If all that's true, it probably applies to Wallie's Mart as well.
Part of China’s plan to make us hurt. Without shoes and clothing from China......many of us would be naked! Clothing is just one the many things that we will soon see shortages of! memtb

I was just in Academy. Went there mainly for charcoal since I couldn't find any Royal Oak anywhere. Their shelves weren't empty but they were mighty thin. Figured I'd get a couple lightweight t-shirts for work while I was there. They had a few but only 3XL or 4XL. If I wore one of those I wouldn't need boxers or shorts! Ammo was almost non-existent. They did have 3 boxes of Tulammo 7.62X39. I only bought 2 since the 3rd one was open.
I think the t-shirt shortage is linked to the TP shortage. Socks are gonna be next...

I’m guilty of using tshirts. Socks. Hunters orange.
Seems like always get the Peanut butter chits in the woods...
I don’t know about nation wide, but no one around here has wasp and hornet spray. It’s a necessity at work this time of year, I got stung 4 times last week. Going to use carb cleaner if I have to.
I don't think anything in the past 45 years has fit true to sizing. I'm in the 5'-8" height range, a stocky 190 right now, more belly than I prefer but was nearly the same weight in muscle back when I was 50 yo. I like my T shirts a bit loose so I wear an XL. These don't tend to shrink much, even being all cotton. The Ash Gray ones seem to wear through a bit faster, they've got a small % of polyester in them (5%??) Generally I wear each one about once a week as I buy them a dozen at atime and keep a few "in reserve". The one I wear I usually get a good year to year and half out of before they start getting thin in the fabric. Sometimes 2 years. I've only been wearing them for 15+ years.
I always wondered if I wear an XL, what do my friends who are 6'2" or bigger wear? I've known guys who have to wear 3X minimum, and they aren t the biggest guys I know. If you like a tight shirt, a guy my size should order an L. I can fit in them but like loose clothing so I go XL.
Come to think of it, awhile back I was in a gas station in downtown Mobile with a buddy who lives over there. They had racks of shirts, mainly white. Asked my buddy about it and he said da brutha's buy 'em up and wear 'em once.
I bet you could score some t-shirts in downtown Jackson on a Sat. nite...
Best place I've found for Tshirts has been Coastal Farm and Ranch. Most farm supply stores are pretty good about stocking the best Tees . I've gotten Carrhart, Riggs, Wrangler, and a couple other heavy duty work shirts there when I needed them for fair prices. Best places I've found for underwear has been Costco- but I'm pretty sure they are probably made in China, Taiwan, Phillipines, India, or some other asian country you guys seem allergic to...

And where are the Carharts and Wranglers made?
Central America the last time I looked, which granted, was a few years ago.
Have they started making them in the US of A again?
Riggs pants are still made overseas, but they are my favorites so I do buy a pair or two every year or so,
Yep, just last week the little grey truck with the funny looking smile on the side brought me eight new Carhart pocket trees and four Carhart Henleys (for when I wanna look dressy, hey it's got buttons).

That sounds too good to be true.... Were they 40% off?
Went to town to get some boolits. Down to last 5k of 9mm.
Don’t won’t to be criticized for not being prepared.
LGS has some fiocchi for $14 box. Limit 4.
Anyways. Hit the Walmart’s to make some groceries.
Need a couple undershirts for work.
None.
No tshirts.
No wife beaters.
No tank tops.
What’s really going on in this country?
Four boxes of ammo is plenty to have on hand. MontanaMarine said Fiocchi is good stuff, therefore, it must be good. It is not possible to bring back manufacturing of certain products back to the USA, however, there will be some movement to manufacture products in countries other than PRC. Good example is India.

No, $16 each. But hell, you can't take it with you.
