Coming up way too fast on 72. Life's a bitch. Now that I have the time to really enjoy the high country, the legs won't get me around like they used to.
Worked for American Cyanamid right after the war, retired from Johns Manville asbestos in ‘59, taught school for 52 years, my eyes started fading, so go into rebuilding transmissions and large animal episiotomy.
Im 93 years old
Blind as a goddamm bat, talk on shît on the internet, correct peoples’ grammar, I wear blue old man lawn mowing Dickies coveralls, even to church.
And me and Angel are going to drive a 62,000 lb motor home up your ass.

I turned 55 the beginning of July. Some days I feel way older though! High mileage. Need to turn the odometer back a couple hundred thousand miles! 7mm

You got me beat. I'm just creeping up on 83.My Angel has been gone almost a year but I still have the motor home and now live in it.
Good Lord willing and providing my luck holds another 12 1/2 hours, I'll turn 67. Last time I had a check-up the Doc told me "You might best not be buying any green bananas."
65 with to many broken bones and stitches in bunches but still manage to kill a decent buck every so often from a climber with the bow. I am blessed with great health and still able to keep up with my workers and hunting buds who are all much younger and stronger.
I will be officially 82 years old come the 19th of this month. My brain tells me I'm 16 and my body says a very loud "FU." I still try and get out for an elk hunt when the outfitter has an opening. My late wife used to tell me that. "heaven won't let me in and hell is afraid I'll take over." After surviving a nasty accident that totaled my truck and put me in hospital, I think she may have been right. Paul B.
I am the same age as our President, or will be officially in September. That would be 74. Each decade your world gets a little smaller as your body ages. The trick is to adapt and still enjoy life.
Been 70 ever since Feb. Still hunt, fish, go to gun club & shoot, and enjoy the hell out of retirement. Starting to ride my old bike again for exercise as I ought to drop at least 10 pounds and for me, a bicycle has always worked good for weight loss. Gotta stay in good shape so I can maximize my time drawing from social security. If I die too young the government wins.
66 but not retired. Semi-retired/Self Employed but still working and paying taxes to put food and drugs on the tables of the 47% thats too f....ing lazy to work.
39 until Dec. My wife will beat me to 40 by about 4 months. The Marines made my knees feel like they’re 50 and my brain sometimes thinks I’m 20. I have worked a lot harder on my health and physical conditioning in the last 4 years that I did the 15 years prior. And man, I can feel it. Maybe one day I can do half of what MtnWarden brags about in the workout thread!!!
56 and half wore out, double knee replacement, both feet held together with pins and screws and half gutted and missing parts from cancer, but, i feel good, just came back from my daily walk.I am upright and feeling fine.
I'm 56. Some days I feel 30, some days I feel 104. Right now I'm feeling my age plus a little 'cause I started the day lugging a jug of spray around the hay field for 2 hours seeking out blackberries and queen anne's lace. The bending and off-center balance kinks me up a bit. I'm not sure if I get stiff and sore more easily now or if I just forgot being stiff and sore when I was younger.
I'm blonde-ish .. dirty blonde, lighter than brown. I had a little gray in spots by 25. More now. And a good bit of sun bleach obfuscating the extent of actual gray. (Again, blame the hay field for that sun bleaching.) I've put on some pounds I don't want ... new (ish ... 2-1/2 years) GF is a good cook and since she can't digest vegetables (genetic SNP) we eat a lot more fatty food than I'm used to. That throws off my balance a bit and affects my flexibility.
Really .. so far there isn't a lot I can't do today that I couldn't do at 40, maybe some things I can do that I couldn't do then. I know there's a turning point coming but either it isn't here yet or I've learned to compensate in other ways without really being conscious of it.
One thing I can say for sure ... 56 does not mean what I thought it meant when I was 30. Though I saw a lot of people in their early-mid 50s back then who seemed to have turned the corner and were incapable of doing the things I want todo, it does not seem to be happening to me. I can't go run 5 miles without puking up my lungs, but I can still pick up my backpack and put down 15 miles or more ... I pay for it, but I paid for it then, too. That's what conditioning on the couch for 6 months gets you.
More and more it seems like calendar age is just a number, not the same as functional age.
I suppose you don't have to be told this, but stay away from ouija boards. In hindsight a mixed blessing but bad for a time. When I was about 10-12 some kids in school were messing with one. Never believed in that shyte, but it planted a seed that hung over my head. Said I'd die when I was 34. I lived up through 33 haulin' ass without a care in the world 'cause .. I wasn't 34 yet. 34 I spent pretty carefully. Every day since I turned 35 was a day I never thought I'd see and I'm thankful for and each has been a blessing. I'll take the gray hairs sneaking in there, a few pounds, some rusty, creaky joints .. I'm **alive** and that's not to be taken for granted.

Enjoy gardening and mowing.... And wear Dr Schols sneakers from walmart. 3 bucks.. Twerent even listed on brick seek. Been going Commando since age 12 also.
I will be 77in two weeks. The old man is half way thru the door. I am trying to convince myself I can hunt the ML season and the rest of September archery
Not sure how old as the average age of my 7 younger siblings is almost 70. However, a few weeks ago when having lunch with my fishing buddy, I pointed out two old looking guys in the restaurant and told my buddy that in a few years that's what we'll look like. He looked over at the two dudes to check them out and replied, "Heck, that's us, you are looking at a mirror."
Dec. will be 66, on Medicare, free coffee at some places.... walking 6 miles a day this past Spring, til it got too hot.....
A little high BP and a huge prostate............. both managed well.
Grandmother was 104 when she passed, Dad is still kickin at 91, wife says '...good grief, you could be here another 40 years.............. almost!!!!!...'
47..... with a soon to be 3 year old and a soon to one year old that keep me young. Was hard on my body between HS and College football, then 17 years of steer wrestling. Put on too many pounds that are finally coming off good. Knees are shot, both shoulders gonna need hardware soon. But I have zero regrets in life and plan to be around to watch my boys become gentlemen. Dad is 79 and going strong. Just bought himself a new California Side Car Goldwing.
In a few hours I will be two days older than yesterday and one day older than today.
I have comorbidities.............I will die one day.................................of something..............................maybe even old age if I can keep stringing days together.
I'll be 63 when Trump is re-elected. Feel like I'm 35 and been retired for a year. Lovin' it for sure and have seven grandkids that like to shoot, fish and hunt as much as papa does so I have it made!
I turned 70 this past march so there are quite a few of you that are older than me .But I doubt if any of you can top this. My grand parents were born before the civil war. My father was born in 1887 and was 63 when I was born.
