Our daughter lives in Albuquerque. She emailed my wife this morning and said that the NM governor has proposed that they back up her stay-at-home order with ankle monitors on everyone. I haven't been able to find any info online so it might just be nothing but if there's any substance to it, it could become a call to arms.

Unless

There is a BLM riot, then everyone can exercise their 1st Amendment.

The Santa Fe New Mexican which worships the ground our comrade governor walks on has not reported this.... and IMO that would be pushing the limits even for Wuhan Lujan. Doesn't mean it's not true though. Thursday afternoons are when she usually announces her latest scheme (or scam!).

Nonsense...but if she wants to she can come over and put one on me, but my ankles are too large to fit in an ankle bracelet...they're size 9mm...

I'm not complying with any of this unconstitutional nonsense...

There isn't enough ankle monitors in the whole country to hook up everyone in NM.

They will need a cankle monitor for Lujan.

Not calling your daughter a liar but there's no way in the world this could possibly pass legal muster on any level at all.

Absolutely impossible legally or logistically.

Of course it wouldn't. I'm thinking the good gov was wishful thinking out loud and someone heard it. Our SIL works for the federal government and they get more scuttlebutt than most people. It doesn't seem to have gone anywhere.

I don’t imagine that would go over well.

You would be correct. Much of NM ain't Santa Fe or Albuquerque.
