The thing to do now a days is to carve the initials into the billet end.
Easier to do and no need to line anything up.

I musta been a trendsetter as I had a shop in Bozeman make me one like that a good 30 years ago. It's hanging in the closet but doesn't get worn as it has shrunk tremendously...
We were doing a batch of laundry 3 years ago in Grand Teton at their laundromat. Got to folding everything up and there some fruit of looms tidey whiteys in our stuff. Inside the waste band it had a laundry marker said TANK.
i had a pic on my other phone. Was a hell of a laugh. Had seen nothing but small frame women going in and out of there for almost 2 hours.
The laundromat in Jackson has a sign saying No washing horse blankets.

I have one made by the Amish that my sister gave me years ago. It has a brass tag on it with my name and a deer head. I'm in the process of trying to "un-grow" so I can wear it again...
There's an old joke about cowboys with their names on the backs of their belts . . .

That’s too bad.
Using a laundromat giant front loader is the only way to go. Ours does not mind as long as the washer is wiped clean when done.

I always wanted one but never did get over to Tennessee where they make them.
David Tanner owns Tanner leather in Richmond Indiana. My guess is he has no less than 50,000 leather belt Blanks on hand at any given time. Same with biker wallets and other wallets. Runs programs across the country with a bunch of prison wardens to let inmates hand make leather goods.
Fantastic guy, fantastic company and fantastic program overall with the prisoners.
I sold a bunch of excess boot laces a few years back from him on this site. I also bought 50 sheepskins to reupholster a Dodge diesel (don't aak)... he must have 100 pallets of deer hide, cowhide and other hides.
If you are in the area you should look him up.
No initials on dress belts.
Most other belts have NRA somewhere on them.
Nope, leather belts from Montana Sling Company and 30dollargunbelt.
Not at this time.
My wife had one made for me as a gift in the 80's At this time, I'm not sure where it's at.
Buddy of mine has had a Bad [bleep]*cker wallet for years haha. its a really nicely made one not a cheapie
No name on the back. The buckle holds a .22 mag! Don't need no stinking name!
It doesn't work with my bib overalls.
That went out of style 40 years ago down here.
Yes in the 1970s, with the white buck-stitching.
I didn't think that was still a thing.
This is exactly what I thought of when I saw the title of this thread can’t believe it took 2 pages to show up!
Had one 20 years ago my wife had made for me. Was a nice design that doubled as hobbles.
nope
everyone knows who I am.......even Travis
I’d be worried I’d take it to Goodwill and someone would do something nefarious while wearing it and I’d get the midnight no-knock visit.
No, but it might be handy the older I get.
I never seen one with a last name on it.
Hell, my home address might be a good idea too!
No, but I got a t shirt that says
Fornicate Thyself
And the steed upon which
Thou didst arrive.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yes I do!!!! But is strange, I don’t think my name is Browning?
