Does anyone use this broker? I'm thinking of listing a couple guns/optics on there.
I've never sold anything there, but I do buy.
So far so good, ammo prices suck though
A great web site. I have bought lots of stuff from Gunbroker. Very good people to deal with.
Don’t tell us you never used it back in your John Manville days. Supposed to be working and you were sniping gun auctions.
I have used Gunbroker many times----bidding and buying only. I have never sold anything on Gunbroker. 24 hr. Campfire is the only way to go for that.
Have you posted your items for sale here? It almost like buying or selling to your neighbor here!
I have never been disappointed here and have met and made friends with some good guys on the Campfire.

Not true. I use a VPN and have no problem buying or selling.
I've bought and sold through Gunbroker. It's always been great for me.
I've been buying off there since before 2000. I've had all good experiences-- at least that's how they turned out.
Once in a blue moon there has been a lack of communication or a mis-communication, but it was with honest people that meant no harm.
I did have one instance where a guy shipped a Ruger Single Six with 1 spent and 5 live cartridges. I opened it up in the LGS and my first words were "Thank the Good Lord! I learned proper gunhandling from a Life Member of the NRA!" It moved a bunch of guys back from the counter, but that was about it. The seller, a pawnshop, apologized profusely. It had been sold by an old cowboy who'd come in and pulled it out of his holster. Nobody had thought to check.
In my review I stated "got more than seller specified."
I've bought and sold on Gunbroker for years. Never had a problem. Same as any site, beware of anyone with little or no feedback.
I have made many purchases from sellers on Gunbroker, never had anything but positive experiences there. It is the only selling site that I patronize these days.
I haven't used Gunbroker in 30 years.
I've sold a lot of things there over the last several years. They do charge you a portion of the final auction price, a "final value fee", but it's not too bad considering you have a huge audience looking at your wares.
My only advice is be honest about the condition, try to take several good pictures in good lighting, not blurry dark cell phone pics of your feet in socks standing next to some gun lying on the floor with dirty clothes strewn around, and service the sale promptly - contact the buyer quickly after the auction and ship the item as soon as you can after payment arrives.
First time listing is a learning curve much like anything new but it's a good website overall.
I've bought and sold on it - probably 30 or more guns between buying and selling. I've been positively surprised quite a number of time with what the selling prices ended up being. I've been disappointed maybe twice. As I always do a $0.01 start with no reserve, I take the chance and live with the result.
If you are selling, it's important that you take and post plenty of good photos, including all of the warts, and include a good narrative description as well. I'd probably draw the line at trying to sell something there if it's worth more than $2,000.00. There don't seem to be many buyers of higher priced items. All that being said, I'm quite happy with the site overall and recommend it if you're looking to cash out of something.
If you are buying, decide on a limit before you start AND STICK TO IT!!! All of my extremely positive surprises in sales have involved two bidders who "just had to have that gun" and let their egos get in the way of their brains. With some very limited exceptions, there will always be another of whatever you missed out on come along in a bit.
How are you guys shipping after sale on GB? Been thinking of listing a handgun, but unsure of shipping.
What do you have for sale?
The classifieds here are FREE !
Gun Broker will charge you a fee.

My VPN gave a Swiss IP address and they chopped me. Maybe they treat Moscow differently.

Could be but Switzerland is not part of Moscow.
Still continues to work seamlessly for me.
I like to sell here here best but use Gunbroker when I'm trying to clean out a bunch of items at once to create some room for items I'm more interested in. It costs quite a bit to sell IMO but that site is very popular and you typically don't have to wait very long to move your items.

That was from 6 to 11 AM only . He was farming after that.
