I posted this on a different thread. We need to stand firm, but we also need to look at possible ramifications of RBG's death.

Get ready for chaos:

This may well lose the WH and Senate. It's actually the worst timing for her to croak. Stakes have just increased for our enemies, and they have for the slightly left of center voters who were thinking Trump instead to Biden. Many will recoil at the thought of a conservative court, especially women, and Especially younger women and the feckless girly-man snowflake boyfriends.

Monday I'm pulling out of the stock market and am getting ready to hunker down for now.

No time for us to relax. We need to all get out every Trump voter we can. It's become even more urgent.

The end of the world has been declared so often it's become boring. I'll keep my money in the market, the bank and in real estate, just like I did during the last three
recessions. Sitting on the sidelines is for the timid.

You no doubt have many more years to recover from big pull-backs. I don't and have to protect what little I have. I have no other way to make it economically. You're young enough and tenacious enough to get through anything, IMO. TG for Tesla. They pumped up my nest egg recently, and I'm taking the profit.

America has proven to be very resistant to various threats over the past 244 years, both internal and from other countries. While it isn't unreasonable to take precautions, I don't believe our country is as threatened as many folks believe right now. But then I have always been pretty conservative with my money, along with being prepared for ups and downs in the economy in other ways.

China is a very big threat, much more than most folks know. Then you have the insurgency that has been taking place for the last 20 to 30 yrs., another huge threat.
Keeping ones head on a swivel and having back up plans are just good practice. Once again the Boy Scout motto applies as it has for all these years.

One of my biggest concerns with the socialist agenda is how many high level moles the Brits had as a result of their more socialistic tendencies .

We fought and won a couple of wars against the British quite a while back. So what do the "the Brits" and their "socialistic tendencies" have to do with what's happening now in the U.S.A.? Are we still a colony?

Yep. The folks on the titanic thought it was too big to fail. Ditto the Roman Empire. Ditto the British Empire. If it werent for Trump, we'd be dead.

Mostly we were screwed, blued and tattooed and being flushed down the schiett hole of history until He stepped in with Mil Intel and Trump and a plan to drain the swamp. He often comes late, but not too late.

Its going to be Biblical.

Hunker down??? FUGG NO!!! We need to be as vocal as possible to make sure a conservative SCOTUS judge is confirmed prior to the guaranteed legal clusterfugg the Dems attempt with the election results!!

Probably a good thing you limit it to "Once in a great while"

Voices of reasonableness aren't always appreciated here.

I admit to be more than slightly surprised to see your post.

Those dimwits were likely to vote for Hiden anyway.

But I suspect if the democrats roll out the sh-tstorm, just as many grounded, mature, undecided voters will say enough-is-enough, and vote for Trump.

I think this peace treaty deal in the Middle East is going to have more long lasting effects than RBG passing. Her death was not written about thousands of years ago but the peace treaty was and even people that hate anything to do with God and the Bible are watching this with full knowledge of what's coming. They will react accordingly.

There is a difference between fear and being careful too. I hope all of us can see that. Those 56 men that signed their lives, fortunes and sacred honor weren't worried about worldly possessions but sure feared not having freedom and that compelled them to do what they did. We should all be of that mindset. If you're not then you don't deserve to live here.

So yeah sh*t may get spicy but at the end of the day make your plans and soldier on. It is not what happens to you but what you do about it.
