Our major gas station/'casino' is shut down for 2 weeks.

The place reportedly sells more beer than anywhere else in the state of Montana.


Anyway, the employees must have got the corona and they can't find help.


Schools are full of Vid and they are bringing in subs.

I don't believe it for a minute.

Up until today I'm not sure if the Town Pump has ever been closed.


Our town is at a loss....

It's all fun and games, till someone closes the beer stand.

Employee shortages are nationwide.

The pumps are self serve no? They could just have one person in there with the doors locked.

Is there a beer seller in Poplar?

No crispy burritos for two weeks, what’s a guy to do. It’s a mess around Glacier Park, millions of visitors and a surge of the virus. Then they opened schools and now they all have it . The Blackfoot Rez is closing down for 2 weeks, they were closed to visitors all summer but it didn’t stop it.

Hospitals are holding their own, so that’s good. My guess is schools will close again soon around here.

Our biggest problem right now is the labor force. Got jobs coming out of our ears. Had to shut our advertising down for a while. Didn't want to be giving customers lousy service.

Cheyenne rez is completely shut down this weekend.

They are suffering a lot of losses of older people there. A lot of funerals lately. But it seems to be running through people.

Cases are on the increase in the schools. Go figure. Just need to keep Granny and Gramps away, and let this [bleep] run its course. You cannot stop this stuff, only drag it out and spread the misery.

Just laughing, Jim because a credible source once told me that a convenience store right on highway 2 in Poplar went through two truck loads of beer a day. Not really funny because it is such a problem. When I was a kid, Poplar was more than once the per capita homicide capitol of the nation. Lots of sad stuff going on there.
