Somebody has to do it. So I wish you all a glorious Sunday of autumnal splendor, hopefully free of that Lonee Stranger twerp.

Up for over an hour now, had a coupla cuppas and a cookie, read the Funday Sunnies, and looking forward to a Sunday Brunch with perhaps a Fuzzy Navel to start and then steak and eggs. Might do a little summer-winter closet changeover today, but not much else until primetime TV.

Wishing you all have an equally easy and restful day. ("You all" meaning minus the trolls and twerps, of course!)

Speaking of sub-orbital...

Blue Origin is planning a much-delayed 13th suborbital launch of their New Shepherd space tourist vehicle (unmanned again) sometime in the next few days. And there are at least four satellite launches set for the next week or so - but almost all have slipped several times due to mechanical or weather issues. I'll post these as they get firmer.

Just finished my first. I need to get the vehicles off the trickle chargers this morning, prep my Henry single shot for a recall shipment. It's going to be pretty warm so the afternoon will be spent making meatballs and pasta sauce. A four or so hour simmer.

You as well sir; got the clan all caffeinated and ready for worship and headed out.

It’s a lovely morning!

Morning Rocky.

Was outside moving a sprinkler and watching the Finches in the tree when that darn woodpecker showed up.

Thought long about the 20 gauge setting just inside the door.

Let him slide this time but he will get his.

Now for pancakes and after going to cast some 9mm bullets.

My House Finches have been scarce at their feeder the last few days. Still see one or two fledglings in their teenage plumage. And have a Hairy Woodpecker who has discovered my other feeder, along with a gorgeous Red-Breasted Nuthatch. There's an equally stunning Lazuli Bunting who visits from time to time.

Hummers are long gone, sadly, but I'm eager to see my cute little Juncos show up again so it all balances out.

All we have home now are the rams Barry.

Also, one guard dog.

We will get the ewes in a couple weeks.

I can appreciate a Great Pairoknees, but I'm a breast man.

Sitting here finishing a Bloody Mary watching the Motor Trend channel confused as my wife is cleaning and refilling the hummingbird feeders... Low and behold we are now loaded. In the path of migration, I suppose. I do not recall this in the past.

Need to plant a new tamper proof mailbox today. Laid awake thinking of all the things I should do but a little tired from bear hunting yesterday. May play with a couple 7mm mags I;ve never fired.

Fixed some bacon, eggs, toast and OJ for the two of us, watched church being live streamed for those of us over 65. Probably spend some time repairing storm damage to my ham antennas later on.

Mornin' Rocky - hope all is well with you and your wonderful bride.

Very well, indeed; and the hope goes both ways! Have to record the game and watch it tomorrow - so no spoilers!
