Are you going to keep him? Looks like a fine Dog !
How far you gotta road that tractor to get where you were working?
I have a 1/2 German shepherd and 1/2 Corgi. His nickname is Cinderblock.

13 miles +\-

1:23 road time

I got a trailer, but, it’s not quite enough with front loader and backhoe attachment all together.

I don’t mind the run. Leave it for a week.

Getting a lot of trees cleaned up, had some bad winds last October.

That reminds me of this "magnificent" beastie... half Pittbull, half Dachshund.

That dogs looks like about half the dogs running loose in this town.

Seriously.
One of the guys with whom I shot skeet had a similar beast, part Rottweiler and part Bassett hound. Head was that of a Rottie, body and legs pure Bassett. Dog was very friendly and simply slept under the picnic table while we shot.

when i was growing up there was a neighborhood dog that was half german shepherd and half basset. looked just like shepherd but long ears and short, short legs. you would not want to fugg with that dog. he was nice as pie but when he wasn't, look out. he had a huge cock and balls too. used to drag in the snow. we didn't see him much in the winter.

I was thinking basset/shepherd

The same yard it came from has a black and tan coonhound and tri color treeing walker. Most times they lay right in the road.
Northern Jim has a couple bassadores.

Reminds me of a friends dog in high school, half basset half cocker, jet black, cocker hairdo, legs and ears like a basset.

We would sit on opposite sides of the yard and call him and he would run to us until he stepped on his ears and endo. We would repeat this for hours, until the weed ran out or we got hungry.

His sisters would cry...but it was TFF

This sounds like illegal canine porn.
Knew a guy had a dog like that. He used to say there must have been a chair involved.
