without a doubt led zepplin was the best of all of them. if you got their album almost every song was good where other bands had one good song on the album. they lasted long and played blues acid rock many forms of music. nobody is near them

Really tough to nail down top 5 favorite bands but one I haven’t seen as much as I’d expect in lists so far is Dire Straights/Mark Knopfler. Love that man.

Saw Seger in Vegas last year and was very impressed. Still has a very strong and great singing voice and concert was almost 3 hours.Incredible stamina for someone in his 70's. Put on a heck of a show.

"In-a-gadda-da-vida" was a real milestone, as was "Incense and Peppermints." Those two recordings may well have steered rock music murch further than is popularly recognized. Personally, I think they were iconic, cutting edge stuff.
