Help me interpret this map.

Look at section 29. The piece I'm looking at is bordered by a property owned by Wanda Waddle on the north, Asberry Cemetery is in that area, Dean Berry on the east, Glenna Palmer on the west and Gailen Maxwell and Wayne national to the south. Who owns that block between Dean Berry and Glenna Palmer according to this map?

And what do the "N" and the "Z" on the map mean?

The Z/N is a away of connecting the sections to said land owner.
Palmer owns the lot in question. the "n" and "z" are symbols of inclusion . in other words the lot's belong to the same owner.
Looks like the N & Z are just a symbol turned in different directions. I think they mean that land on both sides belong to the same person. If so, it belongs to Palmer.

edited to add: It looks like Deerstalker posted while I was typing. We're in agreement.

Looks like it is owned by Alfred E, Newman.
All that area we used to hunt. Frankly Waddle owned the biggest part of where we hunted. Much of the rest of it is pretty rough. It was all in a trust run by one man, he died. Waddle leased out hunting rights on her land.
So, no more hunting, for you, on the Waddle properties, right?

Yep, that's about it. I do get to visit areas I haven't seen yet.
