Speaking of things we like, and things automotive, I just ran across this video of an old straight six Ford 4.9 engine. I've always loved the simplicity and proven reliability of these things, and was shocked at how much power it could make with a few simple modifications.
Something I like? Relaxing time spent with friends and family at deer camp. Such great experiences over the decades. I can't wait to get back on the mountain and make some more memories.
Time spent with my family, the older I get the more I realize that time with loved ones trumps all else. I always knew it but I “feel it” and savior the moments more than I did when I was a 20’s or 30’s something. Classy guns, catching fire at the range or clays course for an afternoon, the smell of pines after a rain, investing my free time training a dog from a pup and then watching it develop and perfectly handing and then locking on point pinning a bird between us. To name just a few things that immediately come to mind.
Like and Love. Blackjack and Brady. Son dog and Grandson dog. Blackjack is doing well considering he has lost Cookie and Rico like me. Blackjack and Brady both enjoy getting after squirrels in the back yard. Just a matter of time before they get one.
