I hate to even think about the prices and scarcity of gun's and ammo will be. AR's will probably double or triple. GOD HELP US!!!!

TRUMP 2020 !!
After the last six months, I doubt you will ever see low prices again..
If Trump wins, this time next year, all the shelves will be full again.

I figure there will be an initial run by people who weren't stocked up. After that, it'll be good to go imo. Unless of course we're in an all out commie turkey shoot by then.

This. ^^^^^

If not, I'm already hedged.
For Christ sakes, if Trump wins, and prices and availability normalize some, build some inventory of ammo and reloading components so you can ride through panic buying situations.
This isn’t the first of these and it won’t be the last one.
If President Trump does lose, perish the thought, firearms prices may well be the very least of our troubles.
When Trump wins, there will be even more rioting in the big liberal cesspools. Dont look for availability of ammo/componets to get better or for prices of guns to decrease anytime soon. I said it before, the rioting will probably make this summer look like a lovefest.

You're 100% correct. The communist controlled Democrat Party has long sought the eventual elimination of the Second Amendment and the banning and confiscation of virtually all firearms. Sometimes they're thwarted but they've also managed to make gigantic steps in some States.

Remember this and it is axiomatic. Even though they sometimes fail, they NEVER, EVER, DISENGAGE.

Won’t ask any more than $5k for a 10/22. And $50k for a box of ammo.

I promise.
_________ prices if Trump should lose...^^^^^^^^^^

fill in the blank, think skyrocket
I would sell my S&W 686 for a very handsome profit

You won't be reloading if you run out of primers.

You won't be reloading if you run out of primers.

It would require serious effort to run myself out of primers again...
Local gun shop said 2 years for the ammo companies to catch up if everything calmed down, which is about how long it took after Trump was elected. It got better quicker than that, but it wasn’t back to 30 cent 9mm rounds (in VA) till then.

If you load 38 soecial or .357 Mag, you'll have a hard time finding jacketed bullets for them
I've got two Yugo Mauser's that I should send down the road, I've had them since 1999 and haven't done a thing with them. Hell, they're still in the arsenal grease.

Who cares. Got 1500 MBC cast coming.
If Biden wins, prices will be a moot point as most guns will be outright banned sooner or later. He's also dumb enough to try confiscation, too.

MM
Biden can't do much without Congress, Bammers proved that..

Ya'll mellow out and relax, no strokes or heart attacks please..

I will be standing knee deep in brass, when they try to confiscate my guns, i don't think they are stupid enough to try me, but i could be wrong. Rio7
Gun prices now are panic-driven same as toilet paper 6 months ago

I know. I've gone retro with some 158 grain swaged SWCHPs in a model 10.

My primer situation is good, also.

Yes there is a shortage of ammo and reloading components. We can't find any primers here. There's no 4350 to be found. The Academy Sports ammo shelves are empty.

Is there a shortage on primers too?

We usually buy by the pallet.

Dang... sounds serious.

An original (non classic) S&W 586 is on my shortlist along with a pre 64 model 70 but I figure I can always pick one up for a reasonable price. Revolvers and deer rifles aren’t going away anytime soon if anything it’s a buyers market. The the scary looking rifles are the ones that will continue to skyrocket in price.

It would be nice to see some decent quality and/or specialty rimfire stuff show up again. I'm irritated all I could get is Winchester bulk garbage.
Anyone who is not well stocked on guns, ammo, and reloading components after the Obama years is a fool.

Says the guy that sent a stranger new 25-20 brass, freshly cast bullets, dies and great advice and then donated that money to a family he’d never met but who had just lost their dad, a veteran, in an accidental discharge tragedy.

My prayer for you.......May you have all the napalm you desire...

You’re a Good Man Dan and I don’t see you as a gouger, if you are a gouger I think you’re doing it wrong. 👍

Dessert coffees?
I dont think gun prices will change much. Too many competitors, someone will be willing to sell cheap which means they all have to try to sell cheap.
Back in February I bought 500 rounds of the Remington Viper Hyper Velocity 22LR for $26.99 at Midwayusa. Mid summer I went to order more and they were out of stock. I just got a notification that they were back in stock for $69.99. Over 250% price increase. If you can find ammo/components now, better stock up.

True that Wabi.
I took the opportunity to get rid 9ff a bunch of factory ammo i paid too much for before the 2016 election. I kept a few thousand rounds of most stuff in case of emergency but also kept enough reloading stuff to get myself and my kids by for a long time. I was lucky to have a few primers on hand before they all disappeared.

Bb
I was pleasantly surprised that the local shops are NOT gouging. I bought 500 rounds of 9mm last week for $168.00 including tax. 250 rounds of Remington and 250 rounds of Winchester 115gr ball. I’ve been stocked up for years but we shoot and practice a lot so basically what I buy now is for training and I don’t have to touch the ammo that’s put up for a rainy day.
