Yesterday I was thinking of what went wrong for Americans to get to where 50-75% of marriages end in divorce. It's hard for a single Christian man to find a good lady these days who has any personal morality and examples of commitment from her parents.
You set a great example of 56 years with the same woman. May other families be so blessed.

Many are married, but he who finds a wife is blessed.

Congratulations to the OP. My folks married in 64 also. We lost Dad last year but they had 55 good years together. The impact of couples staying together has on their children and communities can not be calculated.
