Black Friday Deals 2020 - Post them - 11/26/20
Keeping the tradition going. A bit of a twist - would like to see specific alternatives to China made goods. Or whatever.
Always a place to look.

Been looking at good, and also just cheap extension cords. Imports from Taiwan and The Philippines can be found rather than China. Home Depot HDX, some from Taiwan, some Philippines. Walmart's Hypertough line has some Philippine items. But Southwire and other excellent US made items are out there for the taking.
There's no Athalon or Hawke riflescope made elsewhere, however, some economy Bushnells (like Bushnell AR) are South Korea. No need to buy a China Burris line if you want otherwise. That said, Primary Arms has some very decent stuff made in the Red.
Rangefinders are harder, there's the Euros, but, Sig and many (most) others are Chinkonese.
Got looking at Kerosene/diesel forced air heaters awhile back. Darn few consumer lines not Chinko. Some from Mr Heater brand are from Korea (but not their propane ones).
Tripods and heads? Tough. Slik might be Japan. There's a few Taiwan and Hong Kong. Euro and some crazy high end chit otherwise.
Tripod rifle clamps. Bog Pod Death Grip is Chinko to the max. Triclawps is USA. So is Hog Saddle.
Chapman, Bondhous, Malco, and many other US tool companies still at it.
Rings and bases. Do you really need Chinko Burris XTR Signature rings? Ok fine, offset that purchase with something USA, Talley, Leupold, Warne etc etc maybe?
Leepers, well no, but UTG Pro items are US made.
So - as you are looking around. Do you really need that $6 camo shirt? Those $50 boots? The $2 utility knife (Stanley 99s are only $4 each and USA). Do ya figure the $70 bench vise is worth it? How about a decent blaze orange vest - good luck with that. Damnit, I bought a wire stripper plier recently, the Chinko one was better built and half the price, at least got it from the local hardware Co. LOL Floor mats, bath towels, chit. I had to order USA Libman toilet brush online to avoid a chinko scrubber! How about toys for the kids? Talk about China crap. How about some Legos? Hey, there's Corel for the dinner table. Remember Palmolive not Dawn, but I digress.
Good luck. Just things to ponder. But, SOB 32" smart TVs for $100! Hell yes. Oh, maybe, just maybe stick to USA Made paper products! You can do it.
Think Ruger, Smith and Wesson, Aero, PSA, BCA, Daniel D, YHM, MagPul, D&S, ACS, Troy, etc etc etc! Cheers.
Always a place to look.
