Good for him! That man is a real man.
Nice. That’s the way everyone should be.

The Canadians that I have met in the Bakken are miserable bastids.
Outrageous!
LOL
Hell of a guy good for him for helping the lady and family out.

But. She's from Georgia, she's never driven in snow and is taking a truck and U haul with her kids, with summer tires to Alaska to meet the husband in the end of November? JFC!!
That doesn’t surprise me. Most Canadians I’ve known are salt of the earth type men. I’ll gladly help my neighbors to the north, not the imported ones as much as the “normal” ones. 😁

viking;
Good evening to you sir, I hope that other than having bad memories of my fellow Canucks that this Thanksgiving finds you well.

To be sure, while we can be smug and think of ourselves as "swell fellows", there's absolutely no doubt that we've got more than our quota of malignant rectal orifices as well.

Not that I'm attempting to stereotype anyone either, but certainly those in the oil and gas industry for any length of time tend towards being a tad "rough around the edges" at very least. That's been a wee bit of a Canadian tradition for the past 75 odd years and some of the brethren take up the mantle quite enthusiastically.

Anyways sir, I'll end with a typical and no doubt expected apology on behalf of my recalcitrant countrymen and wish you and yours Happy Thanksgiving.

+1
Used to travel to Valhalla PP in BC when my daughter was young.
Folks were so kind to a single dad and his daughter
She loves Canada
I tended to agree that most Canadians are decent, good people until I visited some of Canada's eastern capital cities in September of 2019. Ottawa, Toronto, Montreal, Quebec City, etc. Big city people are the same the world over. Never the less, I still hold Canadians in general in high regard.
