Lost a good friend yesterday. He was on a deer hunt in Kansas and he called and told his wife that he shot the biggest deer of his life. During the drag out he suffered a heart attack, I can only pray it was a fast one and he didn't suffer. But what a way to go, out hunting and shooting the biggest deer of your life, enjoying what you love. Send prayers to his family.
Dang! Prayers up for his family and friends.
He died doing what he loved.
Sorry about your bud.
Just think your biggest buck and Jesus in the same day.
No way to top that.
Prayers for those left behind, but he might have just had the best day ever.
Yikes, sorry to hear about your friend.
Thoughts and prayers from Iowa for those left behind. Seems like a rather good way to go.
A sad thing, but that is the way to go! Out in the woods doing something you love and a quick death.
Beats hell out of wasting away in a nursing home with cancer.
May our Lord God Jesus grant piece to his family, and carry the friend's soul home.
God Bless his family, and receive him gently, while his heart is still joyful of his Biggest Deer Ever.
Amen.

Condolences. But, which of us would not want to go like that. My request is to leave, watching my dog retrieve a double.
Sorry about your bud.

Well said, I agree.
Condolences to you and his family. Loved Hookeye’s perspective-bending comment about his deer and Jesus all in the same day.
“Today you will be with me in paradise.”
We had that happen on a lease I was on. Sad thing, but I wouldn’t mind going that way??
Prayers on the way for the family and friends.
^^^^^This, in spades^^^^^
Beats living for years in a nursing home - due to multiple strokes! I know.
We just never know when.
I just prayed for them and hope that they will be comforted from this tragic loss.
I would love to go out of this world that way. Condolences

Truth. Paradise twice.
That’s a good way to check out.
Be happy for him.
May God welcome him and give comfort to those that love him.
He must have been a good man . Condolences to you and his family
Sorry you lost your Bud, my condolences.
My thoughts are with you and the rest he left behind.
That's a great way to go, though.
Wow! God must’ve really liked him.....falling over from a massive MI while dragging out the biggest deer of his life after getting off the phone, sharing his happiness with his wife. 👍
I hope his family can find comfort in that.
