Your list is fine except The Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, (early) Heart, and (early) R.E.M.

Spend a ton of time trying to find stuff (search print, YT and various music sites).
End up just listening to Maiden, Mortiis, Type O Negative, The Birthday Massacre and drakwave/ambient.
Roku on now, YT...............Omnimar just came on, OK for background music..............nothing special. Must say, watching Russian Dashcam crash vids...........some of their Techno is pretty cool LOL
Def Leppard Rush Poison, Rat, Warrant.............any of that crap.
If it's on the radio, popular, then proly don't like it.
Live in a redneck burg where the stations are country, pop or old radio rock. Pretty damn pathetic.
The ol lady likes MacCalisters for lunch, manager came by one day to ask how things going- told him the music was loud and sucked ass. He laughed, old metal head- he agreed. Said corporate says whats on.
I just make a list of maybe a dozen or so songs on YT and pop that up on my TV and let that run through, good background when I'm on a project. Friggin cats get WOUND on some tunes LOL
Brahms never excited me. I mean, geez, enough with the friggin' harpsichord. Pianoforte is where it's at.
At one time I really liked most all of the bands everyone's hating on here but they've worn out their welcome. Can't listen to any Classic Rock for two seconds since I've heard every single song a thousand times, although sometimes I'll put on an CD that's a bit more cerebral or harmonic, like Floyd or CSNY.
Radio in the car is almost permanently set to actual classical music. Youtube is a good place for PMJ, gypsy jazz, blues old or new, variations of same. Upbeat or melodic jazz is good, as in jazz with a beat and a melody, not random scales or diddling two piano keys jazz.
I like almost all classic rock, but couldn’t ever warm up to The Who, for whatever reason.
Am with you on this one. All the lakey kids on Grand Lake in the summers loved this band. A bunch of rich, privileged , teeny boppers all singing the lyrics to "eminence front". I never got it!
The Doors sucked...but LA Women is so awesome that it totally redeems them.
I hate most musicians and actors...i try to separate them people from their entertainment value. This is how i can like music by Bob Seger and Springsteen etc. but dislike them as people

I find myself mesmerized whenever I stumble across Lawrence Welk reruns........its so bad I cant change the channel, especially when they pan the audience dance floor. It's like im frozen with electrical current, I need to be violently separated from the remote.
Sprignsteen for me, never got into his music. The wife wanted to see his show at the Pepsi Center (holds 18,000) so I went. The acoustics were horrible, worst sound I've ever experienced.

It's good comedy, especially that f ag dancer, that guy's a hoot!
Hands down,,,Meatloaf I can tolerate almost anything, but "Paradise by the dash board light" that gets a imediate shutdown. Also most country, just can't do it

Bobby? Yeah, fruity bastard. Married still, w kids. According to wiki. Creepy, but then that whole show was

Good one! Blinded by the light was the most overplayed tune ever.
Still like ABBA though. Those Swedish women were hot!
I think Springsteen wrote that song. Could be why it got no traction w me.
I would not hesitate to say, where I grew up Stairway to Heaven was/is still, the most overplayed tune ever. Studio and live versions combined easily beat out Free Bird.

No, but that black tap dancer was hilarious too. 🤣

I really liked his first album. Then, it was over. Never had a decent song in the next 4 decades.

Think it's more of a wifey and daughter torture thing for our sites #1 " tay tay superfan ". LOL!!
Seems like I recall someone telling me they did an old negro spiritual on LW entitled “One Toke Over the Line!” Said the orchestra was losing it...anna one anna two!
That is Dancing in the Dark. I don't care much for Bruce Springsteen, but this is a great performance.
I know what y'all mean about Lawrence Welk. I will be channel surfing on a Friday night and will run across that show. NOOOOOOO! Somehow I am glued to the screen and I can't turn it off. It is so bad.

Recent MAJOR score on that front. Met a promotions mgr that now lives in Nashville.
She let my daughter have a venue banner from the Fearless Tour. 2009. 👍🤪🤣💄💋💃👠🐍🔥
Don't be bustin' on Mike Lindell. Night before last, the Mrs. decided to call and order two sets of sheets. Who picked up the phone on the other end? Mr. Mike himself. And it was after 11:00PM! The man couldn't have been nicer. He even called her back with a promo code to use. I was blown away. Mike Lindell 2024!!!
I can hear Huey Lewis & the News playing behind this post.
Oddly perhaps, not a single Huey Lewie CD in that collection there:
or the stack near the player:
Or a box of vinyl:
or a tub of vinyl:
or a box of cassettes (there's a hundred or so more cassettes behind the first box of albums too, no Huey there either):
So unless I happened to be tuned into a radio station we can't get here.........................
you're hearin' things bro.
Any ABBA in there?
I cannot stand them and their fuggin earworm tunes.
about as bad as that damn Neil Diamond and anything "pop country".
some of that music belongs to my wife and I don't even think she owns any ABBA and she likes pop music. If she had any, I may have just lost it along the way.
Queen, KISS, Grand Funk Railroad, every 80's hair band, every boy band, Rush, Journey. That's a good start for me. I'll change the station every time any Queen song is on.
I've been thinking. Lap bands are retarded. Wrist bands are annoying. Rubber bands seem cool, but then they get old and fail, and they're nothing but disappointment. I think this world would be better off without these three. And The Band....godawful in every way...
The Band. I'm sure they were talented guys but their music never tripped my trigger. The other one was the Beatles. I never really like their music either. There was so much talent out there but those 2 just didn't do it for me.
The Temptations and Michael Jackson. Also the Jackson 5. Forget 99.9% of anyone or groups after 1972. I remember a few years ago my youngest daughter wanted to go to Detroit and see where Motown started. Of course our tour guide had everyone sing My Girl at the end of the tour. Me, I sang King of the Road.
I only listen to early Carter Family records (before Sara got the rock and roll devil in her and went to screwing around on A.P.), and old recorded interviews of Col. Cooper and Elmer Keith. Anything else is full of The Gay.
