If so, I haven't seen it anywhere and I find that odd. I would think that would have been public knowledge within 24-48 hours of the shooting. I will say that I have long been on the side of law enforcement during the many incidents that have happened recently and until I know all the facts, I will stay that way. However, the video shows what to me looked like a point blank shot to the head. Not a warning shot, not an attempt to disable, but basically a kill shot. It did not appear to me that Ms. Babbitt was armed, but the video snippet only gives us part of the picture.
I am wondering what the rules of engagement were for this officer? Could this become a civil rights case if she was unarmed and on public property? I also saw reports that police outside were in some cases allowing ( or at least not hindering) protesters to enter, will that become a factor here? Any lawyers or law enforcement members have any input?

There may well be some rich lawyers when it's over.
