My best bud called Amazon yesterday morning to cancel his Prime membership and telling her the reason he was canceling was because of their discrimination against conservatives. She told him that it was a good thing because they didn’t want to do business with terrorists!
The sonsabitches are really fuuking ballsy now.

It’s gonna be a bumpy ride folks.
Wow! What a bitch!

I’m running into people like that, even in “conservative” Idaho. The media has done an excellent job convincing the weak minded that anyone that supports Trump in any way is a racist, homophobic, woman hating, child abusing, dog kicking, cat torturing, anti democratic, religious, terrorist nut.

As long as they stay inside their bubble, that’s not going to change.
I don't believe that.

Hope he got her name, and reports that just for shats and giggles.

Why bother to call, it takes like 5 clicks....

They think they are too big to fail and don't need the serfs to continue surfing.

It's getting bad men.

There were four dudes standing at a busy intersection with Trump banners last weekend.

Damn near every other car honked in show of support.

You can call Amazon?

Who is amazon?
I'll take things that never happened for $600.00, Alex.

Right. You can't call Amazon. I ordered a repair kit from Amazon and when I tried to return it to Amazon and they said (on the website) couldn't return it because it had been too long since I placed the order. I contacted the shipper by email and got an email response immediately. The shipper said to send them a picture of the repair kit they had sent and they would send me the correct kit and a prepaid shipping label. There is no customer service telephone number for Amazon. I canceled my Amazon account (on their website) saying the reason I was cancelling was because they were owned by traitorous Jeff Bezos.
You have to search a bit for the number, but trust me, you certainly can call Amazon CS.
Dipwad Benzos aside, I have always found their attention to any issue I have had to be prompt and beyond fair.

Well good for you two.
Edit to add, GFY to those disbelievers
Just got back from returning a package to Amazon for SD22.

It occurred to me that returns are free to us, but cost Amazon (though I'm sure they have a deal with the post office).

Wondering about the viability of ordering large items from Amazon (with free shipping), then sending it back on a free return.

Yes, it ties up your money for a couple weeks but, in the end it costs you nothing but it costs them to ship and return ship.

Well Unc, have you called them this week to cancel your membership? And told them why?

I called amazon when fedex lost my son’s package.

Sure enough real person, nice as can be.

I just might use your method of amazon protest. Great concept. Order something cheap, heavy, and big. Then send 'er back. Maybe add a brick or two in the box.

I've called before, not that I care to attempt to add validity to the OPs claim. Pretty doubtful you could close an account without a verification email that's associated with each account.
But I've called and was able to speak with a real live human.

I was buying every issue of the Boone and Crockett record book for my library at the time.
While searching out all the old back issues I kept seeing derogitive reviews from a PETA group or the like.
Many were obvious copy and paste work, it was a attack, it pizzed me off so I dug in and found a phone number posted in the endless data they have available on the site.

All the phoney negative reviews I reported were gone inside of 24 hours.
