Stimulus deposited Jan 4th. Bank says no. IRS website says hurry up and file 2020 tax returns with a request for the kicker for faster service.

Faster than what, never?

Bastids.

Still haven't received mine. I didn't get a return 2019 I had to pay, so they may not have my account. My last one came in the mail. Who knows. I have a friend that didn't even get the first one.

President Trumps supporters are getting singled out. No stimulus money. More of the same chit that obongos weaponized alphabet agencies participated in.

Take care, Willie

What’s it chambered in and what did you put on top?

Won’t qualify, but betting the corporate tax rate increase we’ll see, I’ll be paying for a bunch of those checks for years to come. Just like after funding my Children’s college funds I’ll get to pay for a bunch of folks who chose not too.
We forced to drive and pay for the gas but not choose the direction we travel in this country. Why anyone accepting any handout is allowed to vote is beyond me.

Ballz,
$600 is keeping you up at night. No wonder all you do is bitch on the Internet, it’s all you can afford to do?

Been poking at our tax situation some, if we dump some bucks into an IRA we may be able to lower what we owe and use line 30 to get uncle sugar money to to offset the rest of the liability.
No new guns but maybe won't have to scratch off a big check to .gov either.

Write off the Ruckus as a business expense for having to run to the store for snacks for the kiddoes?

I’m more than happy to see my taxes go to social security checks to the men snd women that paid into the fund for years upon years.

You/we should’ve had the choice of paying into SS or not participating in the program and putting the same amount into investments of our choice. Imagine what you’d have if it went into mutual funds.

I felt guilty about taking the covid money.

Donated it to the local dog shelter and Elks Lodge.

If we get more government money it's going to the volunteer fire department.

No longer feel guilty.

Charity is a character flaw. Next time you get the urge, spend the money on frivolous scheit for yourself. You’ll feel a lot better.

I'm betting The Chinese at minimum will have bases on US soil in the Pacific by 2030.. if not the mainland...

Under the DemocRATS I wonder if we'll even have a USA by 2030...

China is set to overtake the US as the largest economy in 2025, bumped up from 2030 after the toll covid took on us but “somehow”they managed to keep the spread under control.

India will take the second place spot as early as 2030-2035 at the present expansion rates. When our economy starts to contract in 3q 2022 we will never recover too anywhere close the levels we saw under DJT. China, Russia, Iran and the rest of our enemies will eat Joe’s lunch.

Seafire’s spot on, America as we know it will cease to exist.

28.8 trillion in debt today and getting ready to add two more too that.
30 trillion USD’s in debt.

$85,000.00 owed by every single living US citizen, man, woman, child. That debt you owe grows $8/day currently, roughly $2,900/year at current rates. In reality, only 44% of citizens pay taxes, so if you’re one of them, you owe closer to $190,000 ea and your debt grows $6,000/year.

This will implode sooner than later, and when it does, your life savings will be gone in the blink of an eye.
Most of the politicians will have known it was coming and made sure they had time to protect their wealth.

$600 woot woot!

I guess there is some covid program where employers get $$$.

The lady that does the farm's 1099/W2 paperwork asked my mom if they had signed up.

Mom said no, we heard about it but weren't really affected in paying our one employee(me)....

Lady was quite surprised, ran the numbers and said well, you would have been eligible for $26,000 in relief.

Crazy the chit that is going on.

There was PPP loans that were forgiven if you used the money to pay employees and kept their benefits instead of putting them in unemployment. A lot of businesses legitimately used it because our governor shut the state down for a couple months. A lot of people abused it and kept the money even though they were open and operating. Our local paper filed a freedom of information request and published what everyone took. Lots of pissed off taxpayers when they saw grocery stores and PPE manufacturers on the list.

I wouldn't tear your hair out over a check from Uncle Sugar. I just read in the Washington Free Beacon that we slashed the aid payment to China (no not Taiwan...China) in half, they are only getting 30 million instead of 62 million.

It's one of the $500 specials from Standard Manufacturing. A 308 with a synthetic stock and a 20" fluted barrel. It came with a Recknagel 20 MOA rail and I had a pawn shop Leupold VX5 ED 2-10X and Warne rings. Once assembled it became a club. Bare rifle is 6# 9 oz so I swapped some Talley LW's I had from a previous Mauser project and a Weaver Classic 3-9X that has done well for me and dropped two ounces shy of a pound off the assembly. It really is a nice rifle, so much so that I have three more coming for the boys next Christmas.

Sam,

At the end of each year we cut a healthy check to St. Judes and our volunteer fire department. Nice thing is, though retired, my company still matches what we give.

First of all the .gov doesn’t have any money that they haven’t first taken from someone, in this case our grandkids. The stimulus money I received last year went to pay taxes so round and round it goes.

We didn't get the first round and did not expect to get any this round. Then a debit card showed up in the mail. Legit, too. Activated it and learned that the whopping "stimulus" for the two of us combined is $112.50.

Oh, whoopie.
