Who's your GOAT - Kramer or Costanza from Seinfeld.

Least funny "comedy" of all fugking time. Maybe one of the stupidest shows ever. Never understood it, and I'm no boomer.
Have you heard of Friends?
Funny you should mention that. Crossed my mind as I posted. I actually watched and enjoyed Friends when it was on. I have nothing in common with anyone on either show. One was funny, one was criminally fugking stupid. Though to be fair, watching reruns of Friends I don't find it as enjoyable. But at least it had hot chicks on it.

Friends was for women and Sienfeld was for everyone else.

I do believe George was the funniest character ever written but that show would have been diminished by the loss of any one character.
Nothing says "I'm a man baby" like seinfeld. Easily the most masculine show ever. Truly, characters you could pattern your life after, they were the common man. Represented America in all her glory.

Was that the one with the old women and gay black guy? Never saw it.
Did enjoy Home Improvement, and was a big Roseanne fan. For which I’ve been crucified on here before by folks that would rather live in a tenement in NYC.

No, Gruff!
Golden Girls was three ladies, all past menopausal days, trying to get laid....I think 🤔
Gotta go with George on this one my favorite line was " [pause] Was that not okay? Nobody told me that wasn't okay". I've used that a few times at various jobs over the years.
Kramer was great with the physical comedy but George was "every man" - parent issues, neuroticism, women issues but still got women, work issues - general laziness at times etc.
Used to annoy the hell out of my ex-wife when I'd mention in front of her high-class friends, that the only television I could stand as an adult were Seinfeld reruns and The Simpsons. It was true. I'd further get her cranked up when I'd state that Kramer was the only character on the show with any intelligence...the rest were all just typical, urban, liberal dipshits. I'd tell her I wanted to get a plastic bracelet with WWKD on it: what would kramer do? That show put the rest of television to shame. It was absolutely brilliant.

Agree with this. George had so many hilarious moments that weren't "flashy" like Kramer but while low key, equally if not more hilarious.
Seinfeld is the most idiotic show ever on tv. I watched it for 6 minutes one night and that knocked 8 points off of my IQ. I am down to 158.
If you watch that show you must have ridden home from school on the short bus.
Your tastes are beyond suspect.
Your sexual attraction to Greta Thuneberg and the transvestite professor on the History channel is evidence enough that your tastes run counter to the norms. 😂
Seinfeld was funny but foreign to us non-city living Gentiles. Friends was better but Cheers outshined them all!
Cheers was my favorite sitcom....by far the funniest sitcom of the 80’ and 90’s.
Cheers was awesome.
The writers of Seinfeld broke the mold in that they made their sitcom a true comedy.
While other sitcoms would have bits off funny, they also had a lot of cheese and drama. This was due to networks operating under the pretense that to maximize viewership they had to appeal to people that don't understand comedy. Thereby including drama, depth, and gayness.
Seinfeld is just funny. You could say the same for The Simpsons, or Beavis and Butthead but those are technically cartoons and not actual sitcoms.
frank constanza was the best character on that show. jerry stiller also stole the king of queens. both good shows that have aged fairly well. if i hadn't seen every episode a million times, i'd still watch it.

I only watch VCR tapes of Andy Griffith and a tape of Rio Bravo on the Zenith console.

Those that don't get Seinfeld collect matched sets of HEE HAW vcr tapes. And scour the history channel for SS episodes. JC and Gruff live so far in the sticks that they don't get 60 Minutes until Wednesday. Beavis and Butthead are the most intellectually stimulating TV since Buster Keaton and the Stooges.
