According to this American Thinker blurb, McConnell is going to abandon the filibuster, based on promises from the Democrats to be good.

YAy
if that happens ,why would we ever vote republican again?it wont matter anyway

The fillabuster isn't likely to go away but it might get modified if McConnell abuses it. Instead of a 60 vote threshold to end debate it could be changed to a 40 vote threshold to continue debate. It would require the minority party to always be present in the Senate chamber so they can vote to keep debate sustained.

Mumblin’ Mitch is dependable.

Mitch is an old, defeated man. He's been owned since he arrived in D.C. and those who own him are ready to put him out to pasture. Until then he'll do what he's told to do just like he always has.

From Breitbart News.

https://www.breitbart.com/politics/...ders-proceed-on-power-sharing-agreement/

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) announced Monday that a power-sharing agreement in the Senate no longer needs to stipulate that the filibuster rule remain intact after two Senate Democrats confirmed they would not support abolishing it.
I'm no fan of McConnell but one thing he isn't is a fool. Doing this would render him irrelevant if he wasn't positioning himself for the next election. I have no faith in any politician but to suggest McConnell or anyone else in congress is willing to give away his power is hard to swallow.

They believe they are in control so they will just join ranks and rule us all. New world order has succeeded and taken control.
