Home

am i maladjusted...?

be honest i should be able to take it
don't feel bad. i have worked at home for almost a year and have done almost nothing that involves a car except my camp and the occasional trip to the store. i forget how the heater controls work in my car. this winter has been brutal. i can't wait for spring.
might need therapy

someday's I don't drive anywhere

may just take a hike to the back 40 and look for a dumm coyote

and.........

never will be

I hate cities------concrete-------traffic & people
If you dont need to go anywhere.....you dont need to go anywhere.
My wife insists I drive daily. She doesn't like me when I don't...
When I got quarantined 14 days for covid it was laughable. Didn't feel like going anywhere anyway.

Otherwise, I can be on my little place for days to weeks & be good as long as I've got my consumables.

In cold weather I've got to jump the batteries on my truck or SUV due to non use. And,,, I like that just fine. Crowds & traffic suck.
and i shoveled and brushed the snow off the truck...and won't be going to church tomorrow...

i should have someplace to go...LOL

Iffin I do drive

I go to these places..........

no people/traffic

I've been getting about two weeks to the gallon. One fillup a month, maybe.

I'm currently on a two-week isolation before I have a cataract removed, and I just finished cooking two steaks on the deck for my first 20 minutes of fresh air and sun shine (it was 48 degrees) in more than a week. Felt REALLY good.

I watch a crapton of YouTubes on fishing and boating because I'm cabin nuts already.
Hey man, where do you guys buy groceries at livin’ out there...? What’s the closest town...? I love that big country up there.

Sounds like the title of a country song.

~~~Haven't driven anywhere since Thursday,
Just sat here on my ass and did it my way,
Hanging out here at home,
Don't mind bein' all alone,
Maybe I'll give a schitt again on Monday,
But I don't know~~~
I toy between a 51 year old car and a 48 year old car. Either is a lot of fun.
Mark,
I turned 59 in December. I do recall my Mother's favorite car, spoken of years later, being a '66? Dart Wagon with the slant six.
