For us today, called off for the cold.

It's headed our way.

Once again, my part of the world missed the snow. Went east us as it's been doing all winter. Cold here, 23, and windy.

We have church, so I'll be there.

What a resilient lot that church must be.

Jesus Christ.

We are on the west edge. Not sure if we can get to church either,it's drifted pretty good, and still snowing. Went from 29* at 10:30 last ight to -4 now.

-2 here feels like -26. No church today.

One thermometer said -20, when I woke up and went to fill the wood boiler. Then later it said -18F. It is a calm cold and no wind at all. I kind of like it when it's calm. I was puzzled to see that the deer didnt come by to eat my cup of corn I out out for them ever day. Church starts at 10 AM. My new church is an older crowd, but a bit tougher than the young church we used to go to.

Well believers, whether you gather in a building or gather in spirit....gather.

Time spent in fellowship with Him is not dependent upon physical location...as beneficial as gathering together physically can be.

So turn this blast of cold into an opportunity to learn and fellowship in different ways.

Unseasonably warm, here, this morning - 44 just before sun-up, and 46 now.
Have to haul the Bobcat and auger set-up to my brothers.
Neighbor's dogs ran a couple hundred yearlings over a corral fence - broke off crossties, bent guardrail, tore up gates - the whole bad scenario.

-15 here. This upcoming week is gunna suck

my grandmom when couldn't attend, would find a good sermon on the radio, turn it up loud and put her had on top of the radio to receive all the vibrations.

said it wasn't as good as church, but was nearly. she said she wouldn't give as much to the radio preachers as she would to the real preachers in church.

coasttocoastam use to have a dude that would tell his listeners to focus on a certain subject. so there must be something to it.

Doggie3 is 13Mo and getting his 1st taste of -20F ambient. He's learned to get his "business" done much more quickly in the last 3 days as the mercury has been slogging into the cellar.

Church today for me was trekkin’ 15 miles up in the mountains over 6 hours. It was a great worship service too...!

I spent 3 hours shoveling while others blew snow at our church , daycare and parsonage. Went to church that night , Thursday. My niece(the organist) and her husband, one other couple , the pastor and I. What a bunch of pansies around here!
