Now that he has 7 (seven!!) SB rings?
Posted By: wabigoon Re: Should Brady Retire? - 02/08/21
Makin' that kind of money?
Posted By: plainsman456 Re: Should Brady Retire? - 02/08/21
As long as he has the desire to play at a high level nope.

It seems that he has some more in him.

Money?

Has not been his way for him for a decade, or so.

Yep. It ain't at all about money.

Why? He's kicking azz.
Posted By: AKwolverine Re: Should Brady Retire? - 02/08/21
He won’t.
Posted By: Quak Re: Should Brady Retire? - 02/08/21
Who gives a [bleep]. F the NFL...that said...NO. He's still the leagues best.
Posted By: Dan700mn Re: Should Brady Retire? - 02/08/21
It isn’t about the money for him
Play while he can

He should retire while he has his health. Gonna suck getting old having played football for so many years as it is.

10 fingers? That has to be some advantage, no wonder he can throw the ball like he does.

8 fingers two thumbs... come on now

It is all in the grip...
Posted By: rflshtr Re: Should Brady Retire? - 02/08/21
Why not? This team really jelled the last half of the season once they got used to playing with each other. Barring injury or suspensions, they should be as good next year if they can stay together.
Posted By: Morewood Re: Should Brady Retire? - 02/08/21
Brady is on top of the football world. Money and accolades are not a consideration, he's already got that.

Desire is the key word here.
Posted By: Judman Re: Should Brady Retire? - 02/08/21
Really??? Went from the best, to one of the worst, and won.... god your a fuucking dummy
Posted By: Bperdue21 Re: Should Brady Retire? - 02/08/21
Did he even hit the ground one time tonight?
Posted By: Judman Re: Should Brady Retire? - 02/08/21
Another “Alaskan” acting like a dummy... you stupid fuucks up there that live vicariously are something special for sure... must be the stellar sports program you dummies got up there?? Haha
Posted By: kragman1 Re: Should Brady Retire? - 02/08/21
Retire, in the situation he's in?

No way. Tampa should offer him an extension.
Posted By: Ptarmigan Re: Should Brady Retire? - 02/08/21
Nah, he signed a two year, $50 mil contract. The dude is a machine and just wants to win. Even if he’s not playing at the same level as other QBs in the league, the knowledge and experience he brings to a team can’t be duplicated. He elevates everyone around him. It’s really quite impressive and I doubt we’ll see anyone like him again.

Only if he wants to, still very good!
Posted By: efw Re: Should Brady Retire? - 02/08/21
Only he can make that decision.

How many SB rings he has is of no consequence.

Once he says one way or another, we’ll know the “should”.

He has two more fingers and a thumb that needs rings!

Whenever Brady is asked which Super Bowl ring is his favorite he answers” - The next one”.
Posted By: smokepole Re: Should Brady Retire? - 02/08/21
The way his team looked, he might stick around and go for a repeat.

Football is played at the line of scrimmage.

You know the answers to both of those questions.

He and Gronk should move to another team and see if they can do it again.
Posted By: tzone Re: Should Brady Retire? - 02/08/21
That's for him to decide.
Posted By: JGRaider Re: Should Brady Retire? - 02/08/21
Most professional athletes think their schittt is ice cream and there aren't enough spoons to go around. It's an ego thing they can't shake. Brady is likely much the same. Can't argue with his on the field achievements though.
Posted By: EthanEdwards Re: Should Brady Retire? - 02/08/21
He should retire. There is nothing good health-wise, for him if he keeps going. The whole concussion thing probably already has him experiencing some early-onset dementia symptoms. At best, he can pad his stats some more. What is an eighth SB ring now? Mahomes or somebody else could eventually eclipse him, but so what. There ain't a horse that can't be rode and all that. Brady should've signed a one-year deal.

For the team...Brady ain't gonna be around forever. They should draft the best young QB they can and use Brady's last year to train the new guy like KC did with Alex Smith and Mahomes.

Much truth there, EE.

It's been interesting to watch the evolution of the Coach, Arians, from early in the season when he was insisting Brady play a certain way and criticizing him, to last night when the coach said " all I had to do was get out the way".

Roger Staubach was, and is one of the smartest ever ball layers.

Second reason to stay for another year is an old cliche: Football is won and lost in the trenches. He had time to throw and Mahomes didn't.

Why retire? The kid is starting to look like he could do well in the NFL. wink
Posted By: doubleDs55 Re: Should Brady Retire? - 02/08/21
He loves to play, as long as he can do the job he will play.
He runs that offense now, the team responded to him being him and it took off, everybody has the faith.
Also if I was him I'd take the whole defensive team out for the biggest & best steak dinner on the planet.

If he wants to prove he is the best ever, he should go back to MI and be the Lions QB. If he could bring a super bowl to us, proves he is the best ever.

There’s a limit to what Brady can do.

I like the fact that he keeps winning and pissing those gaay faeggs off on ESPN.

Good one !

I’d like to see the Badger (Edelman) find his way to the bucs for next year. That would be a coup.

I've been following TB since he first started for the Pats and don't remember him ever getting a concussion or taking many hits to the head. If he had any signs of a TBI it sure isn't showing in his play, nobody can recognize a defense and adjust the play better than TFB.

LOL. Well played.
If there was any doubt, it would definitely prove he's as close to Jesus as any human could be. laugh

I do now... Googled it.

I was thinking that the GOATs we're actually the Los Angeles Rams.

The NFL has been dead to me for a while now.

I believe Yogi had 10 rings IIRC.

Bill Russell is still the title GOAT.

11 championships, 13 year career.
