Always thought taking someones cash in a traffic stop without any proof of wrong doing is complete BS.

And unrelated, Richard "dirty dick" Burr is a giant POS.

That's just flat out robbery. I don't care who did it. In fact, I can't believe this is legal and done all the time in the USA ( a former constitutional republic).

I was always unsure about Richard Burr, but today confirmed my suspicions. Turncoat and a sell out! I wish no harm to anyone but if he was to step out in front of a big truck I wouldn't lose any sleep!!

Iirc Reagan laid the ground work for that practice with his war on drugs. Any money confiscated could be used at the sole desertion of the agency that made the case.

Calcasieu Parish used to be the world championship search and seizure capitol. Driving on I10 in an out of state vehicle with cash was a sure way to lose the money. DA and the police department making the "arrest" got to split the money. Dateline did an expose and embarrassed the DA enough to shut down for a short time, but started right back up.

I believe he was part of the intelligence committee when candidate Trump and then President Trump was smeared with the bogus Russia Russia BS.
He went right off into the deep end of the Rino pool as soon as he moved to DC.
Voted for him as the least of the evils on the ballot.
Dumped a chit load of stock with advance into on the Chinese lung funk and got away with that. Any one of you that tried that would be in jail.
