I'm not trying to sell anything here.

In digging around in the back of a closet I found a 1,100 count bucket of Federal 36gr HP 22 ammo, still sealed. I don't even remember buying it, but that's not unusual anymore. crazy

I'm curious as to what the going scalper rate for this would be. I'd like to feel rich if even for just a moment. laugh

This got me to thinking - what with all of the capital gains taxes that will be going to the IRS when all of this is over, the national debt should be all but eliminated.

If a gajillion dollars would pay it off I'd donate it to President Trump.

My brother went to a gun show in Ogden a couple weeks ago and 22 ammo was 125.00 a brick and said people were buying it up.

Rolling through E TN the other day and stopped in a little gun store.

He had one box(500) of 22lr Thunderbolts on the shelf, for the bargain basement price of $145.00 🤣

The only thing I have to say is that my basement has outperformed my stock portfolio by a pretty good margin over the past few months.

Let's see here...2.2X $145.00=

I'M RICH!

I can't believe people need to shoot their 22's this bad. I'm enjoying shooting the pellet gun and not trying to make it into a semi-machine gun, like a lot of 22 burners seem to need.

LET THE BIDDING START AT A GAZILLION AND $320.00 DOLLARS, PLUS SHIPPING. The original genuine NV dust is included.

Wow! I feel at least half as excited as you. I found an un-opened 550 pack of Federals this afternoon. On the seat of my old truck I haven't driven in over 10 years.
Have a good one all,
Rick

Well, since you aren't trying to sell it, and you don't remember buying it, and you didn't remember having it; if you just give it to me you will be in the same position as you were before you found it.....lol.

Isn't it way better to find things you forgot you had, than not be able to find something you know you should have......if you could just remember where you put it so it would be easy to find when you want it.

Anyway, congrats on a nice little find.

I looked up 500 Thunderbolts, as a coworker is buying one of my 22lr rifles and wanted some to be able to shoot it. Looked at Ammoseek and going price is $150ish. I told him $80 as I felt like I was gouging him a bit, but can't replace it for equal money. End up going to Scheels a few days later, and found a 525 round box of Federal for $39 (limit 1 per customer). I can't figure out this market, but kudos to Scheels for not jacking up their price.

I found 1000 rounds each of 9mm and 223

I’ll take $5 a round plus $700 shipping to anywhere in USA

Dammit! I gave one daughter a brick of .22s for Xmas, and the other a few boxes of .243

I dont think either one appreciated the beauty-and the value- of that gesture.....

I'm cutting them out of the will...
Posted By: driggy Re: Curious About Value - 02/25/21
My coworker that is buying the 22lr said he gave his daughter 5000 rounds for Christmas. He said "at the Ammoseek prices I gave her over $1000 worth of ammo".

Locally in the classifieds I saw one brick of Thunderbolt for $60, and another one for $75. Not sure if that helps But that was just a quick search.

Definitely way more than you paid for it. Lol
Posted By: rem141r Re: Curious About Value - 02/26/21
probably have no problemo getting 150 for it outside the gunshow. which is ridiculous. my guns like that ammo. i never saw it in the bucket but i have a bunch of the blue bricks.
