They got word within an hour that the government had been monitoring the radio show and were coming for him. Within hours they had fled leaving everything behind including many land holdings and extended family. I was just reflecting on that verse yesterday. The Lord reminded me of that on a remote West Virginia mountain one time when things weren't going well. I didn't know if I would make it back. I called on Him for help and He came through perfectly.

Kind of strange, but I really felt excited and hopeful for the future when the CCCP collapsed and then the White House rebellion survived the Army surrounding. Was even excited when Gulf War 1 was over in twelve seconds. Then, after I was a dummy and voting for Perot got Klinton, I was mad, but still hopeful for a long time until I realized GW wasn't going to seriously straighten out much of Klinton's damage. Tom, a man has to make the most of what he has available. Living everyday just waiting for the other shoe to drop will eventually set a man up for the other shoe to drop. Living with no hope isn't living life at all. Hell I know things may get worse for a while, but I also know things will eventually get better also. Sun came out here today and I'm sighting in a new rifle I hope to use when I retire in a few years, life is good.
