Mud’s drying up. I’m happy. Now to pressure wash every inch of everything I own to get a months worth of mud off/out. I took a broom to the floorboards of the truck this morning.

Weird night, something's coming for sure. Was getting chilly last night when I went to be, got down to +/- 30F sometime after midnight according to my recorder. Woke up and it was already 41F at 0615. Now 51F 3 hours later. Wind from the South with a wind warning for today, which means a storm is on it's way.

NWS calling for some snow tonight, not enough though, only an inch or so. We need a good 6"-12" total from a couple of storms or this "extreme drought" scheidt is going to go to "exceptional" pretty soon.

A relative is a train hound. Follow schedules, know engineers and when they come through town, takes great pics and has one or two published in the RR magazine. He'd be waiting at the crossing for special trains to come through for sure.
