I’m a devout Christian but am often ashamed to be associated with this group that has come to be known as the American Evangelicals.

I have some family that lives in South Dakota that supported obama. I asked them about abortion. After they helped him get elected they said they were disappointed in him and his support of abortion. They knew this before they voted for him, I pointed it out and gave resources for them to verify it. Now the same with biden. I have sat in their church services and heard their pastor condemn these people and not just generally but he named names and told his congregation under no uncertain terms could anyone love God and support these types.

Has been about 12 years already for me and mine.

Much of what passes for the "church" in this country has been pretty much taken over to one extent or another by the world.

How many pastors will teach truth that contradicts some man-written, man-inspired dogma, when his pay, his retirement and his status is all threatened?

The whole church-as-a-business thing is corrupted beyond hope. Think Christ overturning the tables of the money-changers and making mention of a den of robbers.

I agree. We left a large congregation a couple yrs ago after being members for 30yrs. They got too far out of the Bible in a crisis situation for us to remain there. Home church was the 1st thing we looked into, but God directed us to a small independent assembly. Home church or not, we still need to fellowship with others to keep us centered and having a pastor and elders present is a Biblical mandate even in a home church situation.

I've wondered this myself. Especially since two of my cousins embrace the democrats. In talking to them about things in general they never watch or listen to anything other than the mainstream news media. He was fed a dose of coolaid much of his working life as he was a union man. I've point blank asked them about abortion and they dodge the issue so this tells me they really are not against it at all but accept it, they just won't admit to supporting it. I think they will burn in hell right next to Sleepy joe.
